  1. Which reviews could I be refering to?
IGN 2020: Pokemon Sw/Sh are the best games from the main saga.
IGN 2016: There’s too much Water.
IGN 2009: We haven’t played the 5th per cent of the game but it deserves a bad mark.
PD: excuse me for my bad english!

  2. Yeeeeeah, looking back at this video, I can tell you were paid to say that "critics/journalists are not being paid to say "good things" and give a high score". Yeah uh, bullshit. For real though, do you realize how many games get overshadowed due to low scores they get? And I'm not talking about crap like Balan Wonderworld, I'm talking about games like Mischief Makers, Blue Dragon, Lost Odyssey, The Last Story, The Last Guardian, Gravity Rush, Gris, The Wonderful 101, Kirby Air Ride, etc.

  3. I also agree with the dunkey's analysis on game critics. Everybody is different and everybody's gaming level is different That's a fact. Having a guy play a Nintendo game who doesn't like to play Nintendo games is going to give a bias review. The rating system For video games is dumb in my opinion. 10 out of 10 for video games is still a up in the air in my opinion. Average is not a five It's an 7 or 8. The game review system in my opinion is flawed.

  4. I think the only point you brought up that I feel that IGN and other journalists need to address is that the reason AAA games get higher scores is because they are good compared to indie games. I don't think that the games should be compared in the first place because they would be vastly different in price, I think reviews should have value for money taken into account, so therefore the price of the game should at least have some sort of influence on the score. I acknowledge that this is just my opinion, and many journalists just won't think that way, and that's perfectly fine. It's just frustrating because $5 indie games can fail to gain a following because they got mediocre reviews for not being as good as many $70 games.

  5. I will never trust the "journalists" for the major game news outlets. They are about as trustworthy as the mainstream media. They are a bunch of liars.
They probably dont even know what it meens to write an honest review.

One of the only channels that i trust when it comes to game reviews is Worth A Buy. That man tells the truth wether people like it or not (which is why he usually doesnt get keys for game reviews). He bases his ratings on his opinion (which he clearly states) and tells us wether he thinks the game is worth the money they charge or not.
He brings us the good, the bad and the absolute shit the you get if you buy the game. While IGN and other BS outlets give a game a 10/10, he tells us what wrong with the game and why it is a festering pile of piss that should never have been released. And he is right.
He is a blessing to the gaming community.

IGN, Polygon, kotaku and all those BS outlets are the reason why the gaming industry is as shit as it has been for the last decade. And pre-orders. Lets not forget about that. Pre-orders should be banned.

Most game journalists are a fucking joke.

Most AAA titles aren't even worth halve of what they are sold for. Not to mention the game editions they sell for well over 80 bucks to get the full product. It's a scammy practice at best.

  6. I can understand reviewers Monday try to tell everyone’s good so they don’t get the heat but at the same time it’s like why would you tell people it’s good and fool them into buying something and then it actually sack you rather die a hero I live long enough to see yourself, villainous

  7. Used to do reviews for games myself, did 4 in total before I gave it up, I had to get only good reviews and the final game I reviewed was the Castlevania game where you play as dracula and it's like a god of war/DMC game, the copy I got was fun, but was u able to be finished and nothing I could do would fix it, so I gave it a mixed review, covering how fun it was, what was able to be done etc especially as I've never played any Castlevania games prior, but also mentioned the glitch I found where a level from entry to exit would loop continuously without allowing me to continue onto the next level, it'd go to the exit and itd start the area up again and would repeat it, I was told I was to give the game a perfect score or be fired. So I quit. The game was fun, but no way in hell would I give it a perfect score. As a reviewer(well ex if my opinion can even be taken as advice) don't listen to reviews of other people, watch gameplay footage online of random players who don't get to advertise it, or take a risk and see if you like it, yeah you may lose a bit of cash but receipts give you a week to be able to return the game for a refund or you can trade it for store credit, eg Alana said mass effect Andromeda was bad, I liked it and yeah I agree it was bad, so bad bioware is moving on and making a sequel to mass effect 3 and brushing Andromeda under the rug, but I still play mass effect Andromeda because even bad its still playable, it's not a terrible game it's just a bad game, bad game is a loose term, same for last of us 2 beating ghost of tsushima for goty, yeah ghost of tsushima was good, last of us 2 wasnt perfect, but overall I enjoyed tlou2 more than ghost of tsushima,

  8. Well, newsflash: Mass Effect: Andromeda wasn't bad. It was okay.

It wasn't stellar. It wasn't a trilogy reboot like people wanted. No, and they shouldn't have ever expected it to be. That said, the only truly bad about it was the role-playing aspects of it. PLAYING the game, shooting enemies, making builds to beat enemies down with in a variety of ways… That is all hella fun. The vehicle is amazing. Mining is not mindnumbingly boring and takes 20 hours to get the milestone resources. Exploring that stellar visual environment was lame, but the environment it self… BEAUTIFUL.

The game wasn't bad. Your review of it was, because you apparently weren't willing to go in to detail.

  9. Ur just shitting on ign and metacritic that ain't gonna go down good but u are talking honestly ain't honesty is good in my eyes but in real world everyone glosses over reality

  10. Everyone wants to hear gd stuff but mostly ign or any games reviews are useless cos it's up to the person to buy or wait till it goes down in price like me i wait i spend 15 on red dead 2 I'm not buying games for 60 pound it's pointless

  11. I agree 5 isn’t average. 7 has always been average to me because most developers large or small can at least attain that. By far most the games I’ve played are in the 7 to 8 range. I like scoring personally but the number doesn’t matter compared to the impressions of the reviewer and the content of the review. Persona 5 Royal was a 10 to me because it sets a bar for an entire genre and for art direction in all games.

  12. This is the problem with review scores, giving a score to a game boils down all these really complex aspects in to a number. That is too simplistic to properly express what it's supposed to. I could see why people would drop review scores because on videos where they give a video game too high of a score or too low of a score everybody complains about the number shown at the end of the video, not the actual content of the video itself.
