Sony’s new WipEout game was suppose to arrive with a bang, but while the core gameplay was nice, the whole presentation was more average at best.

As a racing game, I'd give this one a 9 out of 10. IGN held Vita games to impossibly high standards that weren't fair at all.

Who the hell wrote this review? He goes on about the 'graphics'? THE GRAPHICS FOR A PORTABLE SYSTEM, ARE OUTSTANDING! Even though the frame rate is 30fps, it seems like it shifts much faster than that during gameplay. I have played nearly every single Wipeout franchise, and this one I would put in the TOP TWO out of them all.
I'm pretty sure airbrakes do slow you down, they are called air brakes for a reason
Do NOT understand the rating that this guy gave at all. The graphics are stupendous. The gameplay is fantastic, and there is a real sense of SPEED with this. This, for me, is one of the BEST Wipeout titles up to now on a handheld. To compare this to Wipeout HD on the full PlayStation console, is unfair. For a handheld racer, however, this gets 10/10 for me.
Hopefully this guy has now quit because this was a horrible review its a handheld compare to the psp titles of wipeout not the ps3
Is he delusional he's comparing performance of a game on a home device to a handheld device. Of course it's not going to be the same duh. A fourteen year old could figure that out.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm PRETTY damn sure Wipeout used to be a web browser game.
Also if u own HD then this has free (usually £9.99 ) dlc to be Wipeout HD, making it the most complete wipeout.
This game is stunning, this review is just awful.
