  1. very helpfull video. i love this lil thing and plan to mod it a little bit. any suggestions or links? i also have the h107c+ and plan on purchasing the hubsan desire. the quality seems really top notch.

  2. Thanks for the video – it helped me to fix focus problem (see https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MY9YLxWDu0w).
But my very first long flight ended up with drone flying up not obeying my down command until the batteries ran out and the big fall from I guess 50 meters damaged sd card and video transmission exactly as in your case. So I have ordered new board and will have to replace it as you 🙂

  3. Hey Thor, thank you for your video! 🙂 Will watch it again if i need to open my quadcopter!

Do you remember (i read your comment below that you dont own it anymore) that the small glass at the camera is a little loose, or maybe something like sprunged? When you touch the front of the camera, does it move a little fore an back? 🙂

Done a crash today and noticed this, but i didnt tried this before so i dont know if its normal or i should give it a try to fix it with some glue 🙂

    Kind regards,

    Karsten

  4. A little tip to adjust the focus on the camera, use  pair of tweezers to twist the lens without the need to take the whole thing apart, that's how I adjusted mine.

  5. Yeah, I like my h107d+ too, but man, it sucks to crack open. I striped mine down to focus the camera lens. I thought for sure the small motor wires would be stretched too tight trying to get everything back together. I too have had problems with video not working, but i was able to sort it out by rebooting the plane, resetting the controller, or playing with the fpv frequency. Royal pain tho….

I am seriously considering printing a more open chassis on my 3dprinter and just transplanting the hardware.

  6. Ha! I have two sets of jeweler's screwdrivers, and assorted instrument tweezers, mainly for all the miniature electronic and camera work I've done. They're also good for tightening your glasses. LOL

That little booger is a nightmare! It was assembled by 2 foot tall Chinese kids. Sadistic kids, too!

And the swimming lesson happened right after the new camera went it??? LMAO!! Murphy had his way with you. I hope he at least left a generous tip.

  7. Great video. Definitely convinced me not to repair. Like a toaster, throw it away and buy a new one! ? ? ? Unless it's a rainy day with nothing better to do. And rainy ☔ days don't happen where I live! Unfortunately! ? "San Diego, California Where Summer Starts and Never Ends"
