  1. I feel like so many utensils are overdesigned and are a waste of resources. Realistically you can do this job with a sharp chefs knife, easy to cut the avocado, remove the stone (not with the point, but with the long edge of the blade) Scoop it out with a tablespoon and then if slice with the knife. If you want guac, just use a balloon whisk to "mash" it and it works a charm. No need to spend money on a product that does a half-assed job when you already have adequate tools in your arsenal.

  2. Wow I didn’t know thats how white people did it, in Mexico my grandma pushes from the back of the avocado and the semilla in the middle pops out easily without any need of a knife

  3. Why did I literally never think about getting the pit out with a spoon?! I always thought you had to hack a knife at it and hope you don't miss….

  4. If you have fully working hands and brain… just use a knife and a spoon. I can only see these…things, being useful for someone with some hand disability or mental issues that do not allow them tto use regular utensils.

  5. So many tools trying to replace a simple butter knife, fork, and spoon, and all for a single savory fruit. And only one of them is actually worth the money! Somewhere in hell, P.T. Barnum is laughing.

  7. ProTip: For zingier guacamole (as well as more digestible), marinate your diced onions and peppers in either rice wine vinegar or balsamic vinegar for an hour before adding them in. Not only does this soften the fiber (essential for people with too little stomach acid), but it adds a mild acidic tang that wakes everything up. Alternately, you could marinate the onion & peppers in the lime juice.

  8. Even the avoquado is only as good as a knife and spoon, not a good enough reason for me to have an entire kitchen gadget when I could just use my silverware.

  9. I don't know why everyone struggles to pit an Avocado. You don't need a tool or knife. You just push it out with your thumb from the back of the Avocado through the skin. It just pops out.

  10. Avocados are literally the easiest thing to 'peel' and remove the middle seed. You just need a good KNIFE and a SPOON, things found in every kitchen. These days companies try to sell so many useless things to people.

  11. The more I watch these episodes, the more I wonder if the companies who make these gadgets actually go through testing and such. Also, I would give a 0/10 to a lot of inventions just because of the fact of how hard they must be to clean
