1. Damn near everybody knows the story of Scorpion sooo of course we won't get anything else new from it

2. Kuai Liang as the center of the narrative would have been better. Investigating his brother death, joining mortal kombat, discovering Quan Chi/Lin Kuei betrayal with his brother death, sparing scorpion and fighting Quan Chi together at the end. He starts the story as naive, vengeance filled assassin and ends a little bit wiser and smarter, kicking off his path into taking back control of the Lin Kuei.

4. They should make an animated series based off of the MKX comics, buff it out a little bit and you already have your solid story. Plus, then there might be a variety of characters that actually need expanding upon, rather than the same retelling of the original story over and over again.

6. Let’s agree with one thing: Scorpion is a boring character. All his nonstop spamming wife and sons name, revenge quote etc etc. That’s so emo and outdated. I mean, make a Sub-Zero movie and see real rates.

7. I miss the 80s and 90s animation where they were had smoother animation and not this choppy outlined version

8. IGN always gives way to harsh reviews for things that don’t deserve them in the first place. It’s a movie.. not a video game.. they compare a movie to an to pilot .. really..

10. This is what I expected them to say… The film is called scorpions revenge so I was wondering why they were retelling the mk tournament… That could have been a separate movie.. Still looks cool and I'm gonna watch it??
