  1. your intro (the first 2 seconds or so) could be made by Samsung, beacause of the shape in the middle of the screen.

  2. For additional optimization definitely download the good lock apps from the Samsung store. It's basically just additional settings and customization for things like lock screen, additional audio settings, and other stuff. It's definitely worth a download for those who want complete control over as much as possible. I personally have all of them and use them all the time.

  3. Do you use the edge task bar thing at all? I find it really useful for calender. You can also use it to turn on the torch but it has 5 levels so if you're in a place with sleeping people you can set it to the lowest level and not get shouted at in the dark! :DD

  4. I use Bixby Routines a lot.. when ever i go out of home or work my wifi auto switches off.. it auto detects my driving and put into driving mode… one of the coolest thing I use is… only auto rotate when YouTube is open.. all this possible with Bixby Routines…

  5. yes, I kinda like marques, but, aaaaa… you know ….. I mean…. pffff…. I'm watching and I'm laughing. what's next? talking about paint drying on the new studio? pfff…. and me commentating on that… sooooo, ya!

  6. I use an app call island. This creates a work environment that allows me to install two apps, like two versions of Skype. One for personal and one (in the island) for work. Also, any app in the island can be frozen. This means that when at work, apps I need for work can be open, but when not at work, they can be frozen, which means can't open until unfrozen.

  7. Here's a tip:

Go to Settings -> About Phone -> Software Info and then tap "build number" a few times to unlock developer mode.

From there you can adjust the 3 "animation scale" settings from 1x to .5x. This will make the UI faster and more smooth when switching between apps and scrolling.

  8. Do you have to re-enter all those settings every time you get or switch to a new phone or does Google automatically recall them when you sign in?

  9. -if you use the Samsung Broswer and have your fingerprint set up you can use it to log in to websites where you've saved your password
-Use different symbols from the Theme Store to make them fitting to your wallpaper
-set up bluefilter and dark mode to automatically turn on and off at a certain time.
-use safe folder for your confidential data
-if you use Samsung Browser there are several adblockers in the Play Store

  10. If you want your phone to feel faster, shorten animations in advanced and developer settings.

Edit: set screen to vivid too!

  11. This is what I appreciate about Apple, you don't have to set all these settings up. Apple just works, right out the box. The only caveat about Apple is you have to use Apple devices the way they want you to use it. However I'm using Pixel xl 3 from your recommendation although with that said not as much tweeking and setting changing compare to Samsung. Back when I owned a Samsung, hard restarting my Samsung, due to device problems, meant redoing all my settings as my Samsung never saved those settings. Not every device is perfect but Samsung, in my opinion, is the most inconvenient of them all.

  12. Government: the country is under quarantine
Marques : so i have been in quarantine for couple of weeks

  13. You can install Samsung GoodLock. It is an app which has different modules with which you can customize your lockscreen, notification bar, clock, task changer, edge lighting etc. And with One Hand Operations+ even adds extra functionality with side gestures which can be customized
