The Bugs 3 is a Very Popular Brushless Camera Drone for many great reasons! It is able to do 5.8 ghz FPV as a small upgrade, but here in this video we will demonstrate how well it does with a Low Budget Action Cam that claims to film in 4K! If it all turns out, this will be our cheapest method of filming in 4K with a drone!

FAQ:

Q: Can I have a Free RC?
A: YES! We do GiveAways All The Time! We highly encourage and invite you to enter our contests fairly. Keep in mind that both Abby and myself (Nate) work Full Time Jobs, pay our taxes, and EARN Everything you see on our channel. This is a HOBBY that we both share and Enjoy Together. Nothing in our lives has ever just been Given to either of us without doing something to earn it. Hard Work goes a Long Way in this world, and we recognize and surround ourselves with those types of people. Begging, lieing and cheating will NEVER get you anywhere, and is only a quick fix to the real problem. If you are a youngster, mow lawns! When I (Nate) was too young for a job, I would mow lawns to get the things I wanted. After that, I always had a part time job to save up for games and toys and other things I wanted to buy. RESPECT is still a thing, and you should do something to earn it back for yourself. Stop Begging for stuff that we worked Very Hard to EARN. We will gladly give things away for our contests to the people that we feel deserve it.

Q: Do you read your comments?
A: YES! We read nearly every comment on our channel! Now with YouTube’s update, it is Very Difficult to read when someone replies to a comment, which in our opinion is a little stupid. We will do our best to reply to Real Comments that are not Spammy, Negative, or Beggy, in any way. If we catch you cussing, put others (including us) down we will most likely DELETE your comment, and if you push your luck we will simply block you. Keep it positive and you’ll most likely get a reply Directly from Myself (Nate) or Abby!

Q: How Far / High does it go?
A: Generally speaking, 2.4 ghz (which is basically all RC vehicles these days) will fly / drive further than you can see LoS (Line of Sight) and in many cases even further. We do NOT risk the safety of others on our channel and will not push the range further than we feel comfortable. If you want to see dangerous flying, this is not the channel for you and you should reconsider what you are doing with your RCs before ever flying again.

Q: How Much Is It?
A: We link the product that we are talking about in the description box of almost everything we cover. Abby and I used to say the prices of things in the videos, but in this fast paced hobby with new things coming out every day, prices change and very quickly! We encourage you to check the link because most likely the price will be cheaper than what we got it for.

  1. Any recommendations for a cheap budget drone for a gopro? im trying to find one with bluetooth and gps tracking. looking to spend at max $300.

  2. The video quality from that "4K action camera" is very poor. you should mount a GoPro Hero 8 or the DJI Osmo action to the drone. The built in stabilizer will provide much smoother footage.

  3. you can access the cameraā€™s top button when itā€™s in the mount, thereā€™s a little cut out for it so you donā€™t have to turn it on before you put it in there

  4. I revisited this post from last year…and was wondering if you may have tried one of the "newer" generation of action cameras with the EIS feature (electronic image stabilization)? There wasn't much "jelllo" with this camera and I'm curious if a camera with EIS is any improvement when used without a gimbal…

  5. My girlfriend got me this one for my birthday i got to fly it one time kind of something went wrong and it flew away i have never had a fly away it was quite depressing lol actually just thinking about it makes me sad

  6. Thanks to the Saylors, got my 1st B3 after messing with a foamy Hero xq5 & learned how to fly quads . Whatever the B3's lacks in features, ( a good thing) you cannot deny its versatility, quickness & the shear joy of its responsiveness.

  7. please add distance and flight time for this type of dron. I'm in the market for a long distance travelar price is not an issue. ex: 2mile range and 30 minutes.

  8. I have two Bugs 3 drones and still looking for a good mini action cam for it. Do you still recommend this one or is there a better one at a good cost you would recommend?

  9. Did I hear Abby correctly that this is not recommended for a starter (beginner) like myself?
If not, which would you? I've tried the tiny ones, but found them very difficult to learn with.
last question: I've seen the "mini" version on Amazon, would you advise that model?

  10. i was wondering why you guys didn't make a bugs 5 review … i was thinking about buying one and i serched for some reviews of it , but you haven't made one and i don't trust others youtuber …… really i don't .

  11. Your reviews are so appreciated. As you said, this market rapidly changes. With these things in mind, this is the first of September 2018 and I was wondering about your current recommendation for a gps, camera drone.

  12. You can put a sq12, which is super cheat, light ,and still a pretty good camera. Just put inside a styrofoam block and secure inside the camera holder. I've tried it after seeing someone else do it and it's not bad and super cheat.

  13. the reason I bought the force1 f100 ghost (bugs3 discontinued)
    1. It was cheaper on the force1rc website than the bugs 3
    2. it seemed really powerful, enough power to carry a gimbal eventually
    3. it had a clear upgrade path for fpv in the future
    4. well the f100 came with an action cam and 2 batteries
    5. and i wanted a large drone, that could get high quality gopro footage. the other drones for $100 with built in cameras were not that high of quality.
    6. because you guys thercsaylors recommended the bugs 3 and force1 f100 so much, and i value your opinions <3

  14. Great videos! I was on here trying to get some info on a drone to shoot video with, mostly b roll, and ran across this one. I've never owned a drone. What would be your recommendation? I do have 2 gopros. Thanks.

  15. looks like a lot better deal than the junky 183X drones brushed motors that go on Ebay (falsely advertised brushless and 15-20mins flying time)
