12. In my school days an exhibit was two perpendicular cylinders perpendicular to each other.
    Free to rotate independently, a string ring connected the two. If one were to be rotated other would follow. After a stop if rotation were to be continued the second would follow but in opposite direction.
    It was named after a Greek scientist.
    But I have forgotten the name.
    Some one can tell me.
