first off, sry for the paragraph, but it has to be said
I know I'm probably alone on this one and it won't do much, but from now on I'm gonna downvote every UT video, until Lew makes a response video to the BlackPods, I ordered them a month ago and never received any answer from the company, I contacted them over multiple ways and had to file a dispute on PayPal to get my money back, which also went through because the company didn't respond to PayPal aswell
I've read multiple articles, stating that this has happened before with teenagers in the US buying bulk knock-off Pods from Alibaba or AliExpress for cheap and reselling them as premium product (BlvckPods.com) and I also had some responses on comments I already made, from people also waiting on their stuff or an answer from the company
LEW this is not acceptable, you have a team over their, working on each and every video, is it too much to ask, to do a little more research before endorsing a product? and yes I call "making a video about it" endorsing, because I think, that alot of people assume, that as soon as you hold something in your hands and think it's worth making a video about it, that this product and company are going to be legit
in the end it, of course I have to be blamed aswell, for not doing my own research and impuls buying from a company I don't know anything about on the basis of a 6 minute long video from a guy who I also don't know
but still…
I assumed it was ok, since Lew did a video about it, if there is one thing he has to be responsible for, it's that his videos are making people believe a certain product/company is legit, if not else stated in the video, title or description!
and just to clarify it, in the video he said: "he doesn't know if it is worth recommending long term" where he was referring to, that he didn't use those Pods he got for a long time and can't tell if they are going to break after a week of use or something like that, he never explicitly said to be careful of the company or something like that
