7. People don't buy BTC because of profits, quarterly reports, property, better product or service. You buy because others are buying . The dirty little secret is that the vast majority of financial managers avoid BTC like a plague. They would never invest someone's retirement in a security that loses 80% of its value in a few month or operates by hype, wish-fulfillment and constant spectacular predictions of wealth beyond your dreams. It's important because BTC needs institutional buyers far more than it needs individual buyers.

   A few are starting to say, "If you have discretionary money for a VERY speculative venture this may be something." I asked an "expert" constantly predicting incredible prices what he will do if, by the end of the year, BTC is still $10,000. "Wait for the big move." LOL It is human to forget the bad – billions lost in the 2017 crash – and hope for a golden future. But it was this action that drove a nail into widespread BTC acceptance. Imagine the difference of a gradual appreciation to, say, $18k today vs all the runups and flash crashes.
