People have said this from the start. They replace knowledge with a phone telling people what to do and think. The dumbing down of the world has taken over. Maybe they just need almighty Joe Biden to proclaim them smart because they are to dumb to know it.
Finally, a story about how bad technology can be. Humans worst problem is outsourcing based on convenience. You get two choices, innovation for development and innovation for convenience. One will make you lazy and one will make you develop. No one will argue that products like a power drill and ultrasound machines are bad tech. Smartphones, google home and even devices that read to your kids so you don’t have to are useless tech. We really need to start looking start looking at tech from a human and person development point of view and not “what else can make my life easier” attitude, because life was not meant to be easy.
And they said " zombies" were impossible , yeah its wide spread now.
This idiot at 3:50 is absolutely cooked. I check Google maps for direction if I need to find a street. I manually travel there myself then remember how to get there next time
I have seen people sit down at a table with a steaming hot plate of breakfast in a mining camp, and then ignore their food and stuff around with their phones for fifteen minutes. End result …. food cold, so just shove it into the bin. Brain dead!
I learnt this on a smartphone lol
As a teacher, It is incredible to see just how addictive these phones are on our kids. They have all the information in the world at their fingertips but spend the entire time looking at pictures of what their friends had for dinner and videos of people getting kicked in the plums.
