Reading Baudrillard now. I thought the texts would be easier to parse than Deleuze, it isnβt?

This idea actually was first written down by Aristotle in his Poetics. The idea must be older than Aristotle though.
baudrillard would not have liked this talk.
We are just substituting one virtual reality for another.

He kinda used simulacra to beef up what hes saying without actually offering a answer to what simulacra means in relation to VR. Dense stuff but would like to hear about it.
I guess he should watch more scy-fi. For example eXistenZ.
I usually love TEDx Talk but this speaker was rather bad even though the subject is quite interesting. Put the phone down, memorize your speech and stop playing with your hair.
