better you fix both receiver antennas in right angle from each other. this provides maximum signal receiving distance.

I'm very curious how you guys sealed up the battery!? And doesn't the added conformal coating affect the heat levels of the vtx?
Yea water is murder on rf signals. Like just standing between your tx and rx the water in your body cuts the signal by a fair bit.
I used coating on my quad, went out today for maiden flight crashed into puddle and all 4 escs are dead now π what am i doing wrong? I even used 2 layers of coating. Fc camera and vtx survived

you should set your failsafe to autolevel and min throttle so yo r quad will go up as soon as the depth is interfering with radio signal ;o)
