There’s so much potential for Star Wars when it comes to virtual reality games. Who hasn’t dreamed of piloting a X-Wing through the trench of the Death Star?
Have you ever checked out "Fate of the Galaxy", the SW freeware game based on the FS2Open Engine?
I'd like something similar to SWG's space portion where you choose a faction or stay neutral, and gain money to upgrade your ship or buy new ships. The feeling of finally owning that ship you always wanted is great.
Star Wars VR+Ace Combat mechanics=Holy Shit this is Awesome!
The X-Wing VR mission was excellent and I really want more. EA should definitely jump at this opportunity, seriously what could be better?
PS4 exclusive is VR. XONE is 4K Graphics. PS4 is better than XONE.
N. Switch is mix of home and handheld consoles. You cannot bet that Nintendo wins
I would love a re-release of Tie Fighter with updated graphics.
Could you give a commentary on your thoughts about the Star Wars SC38 reimagined. A redone version of the fight between Vader and Kenobi in A New Hope
YES
Awesome video:D If you are interested in Star Wars, you may also like our "Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker" TRAILER PARODY!
Whilst VR flight sims would be fantastic, I can't see high quality VR headsets becoming cheap before they are succeeded by a more expensive, higher resolution/framerate model. Something that would be accessible without expensive extra hardware would be a game that has up to, say, 64 players on each side, on quite big maps, playing battles between ground troops of the rebel alliance and the empire. Oh wait, we had that 14 years ago. 14. People were angry Battlefront 2015 was just reskinned Battlefield, and worse than Battlefront 2, it's sequel changed so little it might as well be a map pack. Why can't we just have a game in a current engine to have the Hoth battles possible on the original Battlefront 2? And a new spin on the space battles, potentially with an arcade mode and realistic mode, the latter being the VR experience described in the video.
A single new engine and some properly fleshed out gamemodes, available separately for half, or a third, of the standard price of games now (and no DLC), which make for good multiplayer experiences would be so good. New interesting stories would be appreciated too.
Here's hoping the new EA game is going to be closer to a jedi knight game than can be reasonably expected.
Pod racing VR ??
It always amazes me that Greedo has high quality audio while speaking into a stormtrooper helmet
I guess you could say it’s…..
JUST LIKE THE SIMULATIONS!!!
What if Disney star wars land had starwars VR flight simulator for the resistance versus first orbit?
Elite Dangerous?
I don't have enough money to buy a virtual reality console and currently not planning on buying one so I don't care
I miss LucasArts.
I had a video idea for you, Greedo. I'm curious what your thoughts are regarding the whole "Rey's lightsaber" controversy that went down a couple months ago. Love your channel!
I wish I could have my own game.
Imagine, instead of having the life-like graphics of Battlefront, this flight sim would have a gritty, 70’s film quality to it. You would be completely inmmersed in the game
I loved, and LOVED every minute of the 2015 Battlefront X-Wing VR experience.
It was everything I’ve ever dreamed of since a little kid. Even it was very short, I can’t wish enough for a full packaged X-Wing VR game.
EA (or any developer), please. It can even be another tiny mission. I’ll preorder as soon you make it happen. Please please please.
sao but Star Wars Kappa
Rogue one VR mission is the closest we have gotten to a Star Wars flight sim in VR but isn’t an online game nor is it very long, it’s only about 20 minutes long and there’s only about 5-8 minutes or so of actual combat. Would love to see an online game with many maps.
What about virtual Mecha Luke simulators?
You can wield ALL 16 LIGHTSABERS at once!
I’ve always wanted to fly the Millennium Falcon through an asteroid field…..don’t tell me the odds!
AT-AT simulator or bust.
