3. It's obvious they are going to retcon things. People hated episode 7, then they changed in episode 8 and people still hated it, so there is no way they will do episode 9 without retconing and trying to make a lot of the fans wishes come true.

29. Why would they retcon more than the parents thing since the movie was objectively the best Star Wars movie since Empire Strikes Back? That'd be like if a fanbase was so toxic and volatile that they may as well have sent death threats to the guys that made the movie and alienate themselves from the rest of society as nothing more than colossal cesspool creatures.
