Drone Racing is a sport on the up and up. Pilots fly their drones around obstacle courses at breakneck speeds. Competitors steer from the point of view of the drone by wearing First Person View, or FPV goggles which display a live image transmitted by an onboard camera. In 2016, competitors have been battling it out across Europe to qualify for the inaugural European Rotary Sports Association’s Euro Cup. The event was held on the Spanish island of Ibiza, recently, and it featured 90 of the world’s best pilots. Many of the top pilots belong to the Tornado X-Blades Racing team.
