Better than the virtual boy
I hope they release an actual VR headset with a strap, and the eyehole things have their own screens, and with some added processing power in it.
It’s a stupid idea, it’s another gimped VR Google cardboard, it’s like a virtual boy 2.0.
why Nintendo do you do this you have priced your self out the market… there cardboard and cost $80 ….
i doubt they will have the durability to last a week and at $80 that is to much for a toy that won't last a week or two. seriously give that to kids im sure with in 2 hours there will be a sizeable number broke. at $80 that is not acceptable

I think they should compensate the lack of definition of the screen by turning the image to black and red whenever VR mode is on, I'm sure nothing will go wrong out of that

I'm actually glad Nintendo is still committed to their Labo kits. Nintendo seems to be the only major publisher trying to innovate. With Labo, Nintendo can experiment with various ideas while keeping costs fairly low. A lot of it may not stick but the path to success is paved with failures. Maybe one of their kits will change the way we use VR and help make it more mainstream.

I think this will go badly. You're going to have to hold that up to your face so not only will it be up close to your eyes but you'll have to control it and hold it as well.
