7. There are magnets in both units.. Placed such as they will repel.. A motor inside main unit adjusts the the magnet up and down.. When it is up at its full potential the upper unit starts to levitate by magnatic repulsion and as the motor brings it down the upper unit also comes down along with it until it touches the platform.. Thats how it works folks
