5. Why would Nintendo make a Nintendo Switch XL? A normal Nintendo Switch already costs as much as a PS4 Pro. A Nintendo Switch XL would be like $800.

8. No they won’t make a new switch, because if it’s bigger the current joy cons won’t fit it, just like other accessories Nintendo has released. And just like the Xbox one x (still a great console) may not sell extremely well straight away. So all in all is just too big of a risk.

12. Is a typical home-only console version of the switch a plausible idea? With comparable specs to the ps4 and xb1 (or even the pro or X), and obviously without the portable function. I love handheld consoles, but mostly for the games and not the portability because I'm never comfortable enough to play seriously outdoors lol.

21. well they will be in a tight spot with next gen consoles around the corner and either become a handheld where it will get devs that make simpler games for it and their exclusives of course like the 3ds because big 3rd party support will have moved on to bigger and better things, unless of course they find it viable to make severely downgraded versions of their games…or they do actually make a beefier switch, but is that even really possible with all of them supporting the same games and devs caring to make 2 slightly diff switch versions…i personally think it is the former and they just settle for going full handheld market and if they make any new model it would be a smaller switch with none removable joy cons and no dock at all, that will also cost cheaper and allow them to be carried easier and such…whatever it is tho, it is def not this year

23. The one thing that the Switch is missing that other systems have is the ability to livestream to YouTube and Twitch. It would be really nice to have both clips and livestreaming instead of recording via Capture Cards or potentially a Cell Phone.

43. The original rumors for the Nx was that there would be the home console which we got with the switch.and then a portable only Console the next year. So I don’t think we’re going to get a switch pro but a smaller version of the switch that’s only for portable mode were you can’t put it on the tv !
