Decred is actually what Dash tries to be. Minus the gigant marketing funds Dash uses. Funnily enough I sold some Dash about four days ago and bought DCR. While Dash has been rising still (imo totally overvalued right now), DCR rose even more in % (still quite undervalued). We will see. Unfortunatelly the best technology often is not the cause for mass adoption, good marketing is. I still like Dash, but the bubble it is in right now is scary and I would be extremly suprised if we didn't see burst in the next few weeks.

Shadowcash is supposed to be announcing the launch of their new Umbra market, which is built into the coin.
