1. I've been playing though all three Fear games again on PC. Fear 1 is the best and a classic, but Fear 2 is solid. Fear 3 is a blast, but it doesn't feel like a Fear game and more like COD with some Fear like bits thrown in.

11. God man bought all the game's and this is by far the worst of the franchise. The enemy are bullet sponges and will always rush you. Let me tell you hate the save system. Also wtf man weres the fear aspects play this game and it felt like someone who made this did not play the first two.

12. Fear 3 does have a few redeeming qualities; the gun play and movement is fantastic, but the story was butchered beyond belief. I have a bit of spare time so I'll just type my frustrations as best as I can.

    Harlan Wade – Yeah fair enough what he did to Alma was unforgivable, and in the first two games he expressed serious guilt for what he did, to the point where he practically committed suicide for releasing Alma knowing the sheer hatred she had for him and knowing she would kill him, but the story was extremely complex and well made, But in Fear 3 they ramped him up like some cracked induced demon and that he enjoyed causing all that suffering.

    Becket – I mean really, Becket wasn't just a major character, he was a MAIN character you was part of for an entire game, the protagonist of Fear 2, and to see him killed like some pointless entry in Fear 3 was a insult, who thought of this? Becket wasn't a push over, he was just as capable as Point Man. Totally out of character in Fear 3.

    Fucking Scavengers – Yep, say no more, not scary, generic crap like some 99p Halloween comic book and also extremely frustrating.

    Teleporting Glowing blue Chiefs that talk like a creepy uncle on a CB Radio.

    Those demonic dog things, not fun, just bullet sponges and extremely annoying.

    Armacham is now the US Government or something? Where is the US Army or any other government agency in this? Even Fear 2 is guilty of this to be fair.

    Genevieve Aristide – What happened to her? Did Stokes survive? No answers from Fear 2 apart from an out of character Becket acting like a cry baby and exploding.

    2 Weapon limit, because so what if we have dead physic girls that can still get pregnant, huge hulking robots that can repair themselves and huge glowing 7 ft body builders that can teleport through walls? Can't be unrealistic with the amount of guns you can carry son.

    Such a shame the story ended like this, but the game is at least enjoyable if you just want a good challenge.

14. i play fear 2 at the moment awesome game,realy enjoying it.also i completed fear 1 and perseus mandate years ago,great games,snd fear 3 from review looks like sht compared to fear 2. weapons,enemies,no slow motion shooting in review video? also main character looks like dude from deus ex newest games

16. My friend and I tried to play F.E.A.R 3 co-op on PC but couldn't get it working. Has this happened to anyone else?

17. Did not enjoy as much as the first two, felt like it was trying to emulate Call of Duty or Left 4 Dead rather than being its own identity. Not a horrible game, but not a great one either. It's just kinda… "eh." I'd give it like… I dunno, a 6.

    Main gripe of the game is the small mag sizes compared to the first two. Enemies felt bland and uninspired, with only a couple really standing out, such as the Phase Commanders and Scavengers. Could go back and play it, maybe, but could also have gone the rest of my life without and not have missed it.

18. I liked all 3 games. This one is certainly the least horror driven but it still had its scary moments and I like the fact that you can play as both brothers, each of which have different styles of play. The AI is good though a couple of times I cought a few enemies just standing doing nothing when they should of been trying to kill me. Those moments were rare though. Love all 3 games. hope they make a fear 4

24. just finished fear 2 and its amazing a bit easy but really straigght to action no bs

26. So do you play as Replica 813 or some new dude. You mentioned Becket, but that cant be right because he is with Alma now. At the end of Reborn you bring Paxton back.

27. I don't get how a franchise known for it's graphics and outstanding artificial intelligence somehow created a game that lacked both those things

28. Man i just made a ragequit at the second level and forgot i have the game … i think they had to cut of some of the action and the game would have been much better …but now that i have completed it i thing it aint that bad !

F.E.A.R. 1; awesome.  F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin; awesome.  The expansion packs Extraction Point and Perseus Mandate; awesome.  F.3.A.R.; Took a shit on the franchise so big that it hasn't been seen since.  Either bring back Monolilth or kill off F.E.A.R. before anymore damage can be done to it.

33. This game was suck a disappointment for me.  I played all of them and I can't even remember one thing about F3. That's how dull it was in the "fear" department.  Other than that it was a decent game. Just not scary in at all.  Maybe I'll give it another playthrough since so many of you say you liked it.

36. fear isn't even fear anymore fear 3. it wasn't even that horrifying as I imagined it out to be. In the end it turned to be like any other scary fps if there are any good ones other than fear.

    anyways it had some good mech scenes, a decent ending, and some nice shooting galleries. but this wasn't what I was looking for.

    if this is what fear 3 is then it sucks. because if I wanted an fps with the three things I mentioned above I would've gotten call of duty or battlefield or something like that.

    fear 3 has some scary scenes but seriously its monsters look like flaming hairless werewolves, and it needs to have more exciting and frightening scenes to play in.

    the ending part where you had shoot the invisible monster that had some smoke surrounding it was the right idea.

    this is probably 6 or 7 out of 10 for me

    I expected it to be 9 or AT LEAST an 8!!!

37. fear 2 project origin is short too. Why are people getting so mad on how short the game is. I beat fear 2 in 5 hours.

39. IGN is so wrong here. Fear 3 was shit, the series started out as a cool horror shooter but now like they said in the vid it's like fucking call of duty or something!
