PC Perspective’s Ryan Shrout joins us to show us how to build an ultra-high-end, future-proof (but still somewhat budget-concious) VR gaming PC — with a …
Where are you guys getting your parts from? I priced out everything on this build and it's closer to 3 Grand then 2500 .
Where you able to use the degug tool to run 200% pixel count on oculus?
Hey guys! great video. Do you have a parts list? Given this is a $2500 rig. You still have to foot the bill for the VR gear. Is that a correct statement?

This might be a stupid question but could I use this machine also for 3d modeling, animation and render as well developing games for vr?
Is that a single 980 Ti or a dual SLI?
GOOD video guys

I pretty much just built this exact rig. Although, I opted for the "$600" Asus workstation motherboard for better USB 3.1 and full power across all PCI-E slots for uncompromised future expansion. Also, my Samsung 950 Pro M.2 was only a 256GB and I opted for a Samsung 850 EVO for my second drive. However, I didn't build it strictly for VR, I mainly do graphic design, 3D animation, and video editing. So far it's been worth every penny, hopefully it'll last me 12 years like my last workstation(I think it was the dual Xeon CPU that got me through the rough last few years of its life, the thing sounded like an idling car with a loose change rattling in the cup holder).
An x99 system is not needed for a VR gaming computer.
Was there any noticeable difference in quality or experience between budget build and this before you crank up the dials?
dud, why not use a Ryzen 5 1600 instead?
