1. Battle Royal is a fad and Blackout was a strategic marketing ploy Treyarch used to liven up a dying franchise. MP will always be the bread and butter of the franchise regardless of Fortnite and PUBG twitch and YouTube streamers clamouring for Battle Royal style.

   The honeymoon phase of Blackout will wear off over time and the old school COD players will still be the backbone of the community. It's for the most part, boots on the ground is what got the original community on board

2. I never realy cared about the story modes. I loved brink (i am one of the few people that did) and that game does not have a story mode. In BF1 i did not even play the complete story mode, for me these games are all about the Multiplayer, if i want to play a game with story there are plenty of games wich do that way better than cod or bf (for example spec ops the line). I cant even remember anything from the Black Ops 2 story.
