Just curious how would the sound compare to my Bose QC35 Series II Headphones. I am sure they would sound better but is it 2 grand better??
They such ass.
Listen to FLAC extensions for a great sound quality.
What you said made sense. The price tag didn't though.
That old intro tho ??
It'd be cool to hear what you test these kind of headphones with, Songs? Genres? I'm sure you have a playlist ready for when you get high end headphones.
$2400 and no bluetooth???
OK…..MBKHD you need a proper headphone amp and dac, your audio interface is good enough for m50x, but not the right one to drive this level of headphone.
My favourite intro music is back!!!! Love love
superb cinematography. At the point where you were about to explain the difference between regular high-end headphones and these, I thought what the hell, what's up with the colour, but couldn't have explained it any better. Amazing production quality! You should work more with jake roper!
Those headphones are insane!
Really similar experience to my AKG7XX or Sennheiser HD6XX. I wear my 7XX in the coffee shop all the time and I always get the craziest looks lol!
Sounds like something a sound engineer would use.
Really impressed with the visual representation you did with the video!
You convinced me I’ll buy them
Psych
Please tell me that you aren't so stupid to buy those???
ASMR headphones* lol
I’m not gonna lie to you…I kinda want to see those old school macs in the background.
coheed and cambria – time consumer…that is my go to track to test out speakers. it's so FULL
I thought these were those $50K headphones lol
Siemens Sennheisers design is so unbelievably ugly
The OG music
They are a waste of money. I would price them at $150.
If you can afford $2400 pair of headphones, you are doing pretty ok for yourself.
Two times the price of my entire computer. No thanks, though I want to try them.
Your the best
Best headphones under $300 ?????
Do those headphones belong to him or is this an ad?
How do they compare to the $50,000 Seinheissers you tried a couple years ago?
SO I have a question for you MKHD, would you mind reviewing more mid rang HiFi headphones. I am really interested in knowing your opinion on headphones like Beyerdynamics or Fostex or even like the Monoprice/Audeze open back earphones. Do Hi Fi designed headphones that attempted to produce products for the mobile market, and bring that sit down audio to you in a portable design not have a place with the hopes that everything mobile goes wireless, or is there a situation where AUX still matters in the mobile world?
My go to audio check songs are any of Diana Krall's live concerts, Goldfish's In the deep of the night, and Hotel bloody California.
Most ppl can't even appropriate good music. So what's the point for buying a pair of headphone like this.
I would rather go with a used car.
That white balance is sh*t. Oh wait… good analogy.
'dat jib though.
Is he speaking English
Costs more than my yearly rent
The Audio Technica M50X sound harsh as well. My favorite in this price class are the Beyerdynamic DT250 80Ohm instead, way smoother, natural balanced and almost no harmonic distortions.
Nice intro?
No doubt, almost everything in that studio is high-end also.
only a fool would pay that
Back at it again with the OG intro ?
Great review. And yes the specs do matter. And your analogies make sence. I bought the audiotechnica ath-mx 50s because of your review and how you described the headphones.
Yes… Ongoing things intro is back… PLEASE DONT CHANGE IT
Welcome back nostalgic mkbhd intro
