  1. Just curious how would the sound compare to my Bose QC35 Series II Headphones. I am sure they would sound better but is it 2 grand better??

  2. It'd be cool to hear what you test these kind of headphones with, Songs? Genres? I'm sure you have a playlist ready for when you get high end headphones.

  3. OK…..MBKHD you need a proper headphone amp and dac, your audio interface is good enough for m50x, but not the right one to drive this level of headphone.

  4. superb cinematography. At the point where you were about to explain the difference between regular high-end headphones and these, I thought what the hell, what's up with the colour, but couldn't have explained it any better. Amazing production quality! You should work more with jake roper!

  5. SO I have a question for you MKHD, would you mind reviewing more mid rang HiFi headphones. I am really interested in knowing your opinion on headphones like Beyerdynamics or Fostex or even like the Monoprice/Audeze open back earphones.
Do Hi Fi designed headphones that attempted to produce products for the mobile market, and bring that sit down audio to you in a portable design not have a place with the hopes that everything mobile goes wireless, or is there a situation where AUX still matters in the mobile world?

  6. My go to audio check songs are any of Diana Krall's live concerts, Goldfish's In the deep of the night, and Hotel bloody California.

  7. The Audio Technica M50X sound harsh as well. My favorite in this price class are the Beyerdynamic DT250 80Ohm instead, way smoother, natural balanced and almost no harmonic distortions.

  8. Great review. And yes the specs do matter. And your analogies make sence. I bought the audiotechnica ath-mx 50s because of your review and how you described the headphones.
