definitely a great sequel, everything is improved
Just an enhanced Forest.
Bro, turn off motion blur.
The game is missing content, short story, lack of craftables and is early access, how are you giving it an 8? Oh nevermind its IGN.
The finger mutants are so cool
PLEASE PUT THIS OUT ON PS5
It’s got a ton of content and polish for literally version 0.1 early access. So many updates in the pipeline
How tf do you only get 20-60 fps with a 3080 on 1080p? I'm getting mostly stable 70fps on 3440x1440p without dlss using my 4070ti
Don’t starve: FPS
Game of the year
Team "kill a cannibal leave him outside the walls, kill their sad friends when they come to cry at them"
oh, so Im not alone with fsp drops.
Crazy how recently IGN has actually employed gamers to do videogame reviews.
They NEED to take away all the points of interest being marked on your GPS at the VERY START of the game, or at least make it an easy mode option.
Why on earth did they decide to gut the exploration aspect in the sequel?
This game is amazing and the current build is a great framework that will surpass the original… but in its current state the building has so much potential but falls flat. Example tree houses can only go up so far when the trees are massive, no log sled, no way to grind and craft ammo. Enemies and moose phase through walls, shelves are destroyed with one hit and you lose all the material on the shelf. No traps for enemies. etc. Been having fun but needs a lot of work.
To anyone new to sons of the forest be warned be careful when turning off radios if not you might get an explosive surprise:)
For a game that was going to release as a full product (according to the devs) all the way up until a month before release then became Early Access it is missing a ton of content and feels like a very stripped down version of what the first game did. There's 3 types of large mutants, 2 actual caves with said mutants and not much else to do on the main map, very disapointing so far and it needs more than a years worth of work to fix the problems it has. It's fun with friends and the building is better (not great) but for a game that was supposed to be a full game close to release its pretty disappointing.
Off the bat know this review is kinda meh when he says the forest came out in 2018
This could become the perfect VR game 🫣
Stay in the Cube!
Wake me up in 4 years when it drops on Xbox
3070ti no weird graphical glitches or frame drops, so sounds like a you problem lol
It’s okay, way to easy
Here's me hoping this shows up on PS5 someday.
For early access standards and indie standwrds, I’d say this is a 9 or 10.
The game is just a big disappointment!
Just play green hell
The forest came out in 2014 not 18
Forgot to mention how snow deletes rocks and pebbles on the ground.
This guy forgot to mention the satisfaction you get when discovering new locations or picking up new items
You can skip straight to endgame with a stick!
Wait….did he say his 3080 cruises at 60+…ON 1080P…WITH DLSS??? That is completely unacceptable performance…a 3080 can get you 75+ on 4K with DLSS on balanced, and that game is super unoptimized.
I'm slowly mastering LogFu Logs are actually a viable weapon now lmao
reviewing early access is a waste
A f'king 8?! Seriously? It's like a 5/10 at best right now.
SOTF is more CPU intensive rather than GPU that will be why you stutter
