2. Meta quest should come with a ring that can isolate your body from your environment, where you can freely walk and bounce around
   This endless ring so you don’t harm yourself. I saw this in the early 2000 in VR games in a mall and I don’t get why this isn’t happening atm.

3. The Rocky boxing game I played at Christmas was Fun. You see the potential. I would say that meta verse is worth getting involved with. Ideas for games that could work are Acting a Movie game since you can record your voice and arm movements, Anything swords or sabers, tamagotchi VR, Gunner on a vehicle or space ship, Quiz shows, Parachute, Joisting, Horse Race, Concert management sim, Management SIM, Avatar rentals, Dating & Meet-ups apps, Drive, Lego VR, Dance off or TikTok app, They should link up with 'making a choice game makers' such as super massive games who made 'Until Dawn' which is where the gamer makes a choice or reacts to quick time events for an interactive movie game.

6. Just tried one of my friends quest 2. I got butterflies playing it and bought it 5 minutes ago.

7. Got one as a Christmas gift. I was unsure on the whole VR experience, but 3D-encoded movies (transferred over) look spectacular, almost like the viewing experience at a theater with those plastic glasses. The files are huge though, most running between 14-25GB. I opted for the 256GB model and am glad I did. I don't know what my long-term usage will look like, but as far as games go, Beat Saber is obviously a nice fluid rhythm game. Didn't care much for RE4's control and layout. I played it on the PS2 and Wii.

   I do have the BoboVR M2 Plus kit coming tomorrow. The default strap is horrendous if you have long(er) hair and glasses.

9. So there is a head strap you can buy (I’m only five minutes into the video so if you covered that I’m sorry) but the headset has extra battery life so your headset would have about 200% battery

14. I hate the ignorance in the name. When a company buys into another, of course rights, product lines, and more are changed hands. But when a unit (original occulus) gets bought out…Meta shouldn't be calling it "2" because it's introductory with metas involvement and different features that didn't exist before due to metas relationship. The unit should be called meta 1

19. Apple's hypothetical VR headset stands as much chance as a snowball in hell. Unless they choose Android for their VR OS like all the other headsets, which of course they won't.

I found it very hard to actually take in the information due to your excessive use of the word "experience" and actually started to piss me off listening to you say it. It's called a thesaurus buddy, I'd suggest you take a look at it.

35. Don't get one for PCVR. I did. It's like watching a video of PCVR. Compression is obvious no matter the resolution, and it's different for each eye making textures looks blurred and noisy. There's also a 10 to 15% encoding overhead for your PC. Facebook/Meta killed the Rift series and stopped selling replacement cables to suck me into paying more for worse PCVR.

39. You asked for opinions about the future of VR? Currently there is the impression that VR is all about gaming, and is for the young. Not so! I'm a 68 year old woman and you would be surprised how many of my age group are into it! I have zero interest in gaming…but…the big one for the retirement age group is TRAVEL. I may never get to Antarctica, but with VR I can walk amongst the penguins. My cohorts and I may be less mobile, but we have more cash and more time. Some time soon this penny will drop for some clever marketing departmenst….and I can't wait! 😀
    PS: I remember when Facebook was supposedly for the young. 😉

44. The Quest 2 has a lot of issues. 1. I had to replace my head strap 2 time because the left slider broke. 2. I have had to use contact cleaner on both of my thumb sticks of my controllers. The head strap that came with it made the Quest 2 front heavy. 3. The lens adjustment being moved to the inside was a bad move. The battery covers are harder to remove then the first Quest headset. With all the issues that the Quest 2 has. I’m very skeptical of the Quest 3. What’s it quality going to be like? How many issues is it going to have? What is it’s pass through going to be like? Where is the lens adjustment going to be? Inside or outside? Because after a new headset hits the market, after a while Meta will make Horizon Worlds incomparable with the previous headset forcing the user to buy the latest headset in order to use Horizon Worlds. That tactic sucks BIG time. I am checking out the Pro version keeping an eye on it’s reviews. Replacing a cell phone isn’t the same. We all have a choice if we wanna upgrade or replace our cellphone. If a person builds in Horizon Worlds, having to be burdened with getting a new headset every 3 years does not fit everyone’s budget.
