I would pay hundreds of dollars to a developper that would developp an addon to just simply replicate the default x-plane camera system in MSFS. If someone can hear my call…🙂 But thank you for the great content as alway Q8pilot!
Great video, Can you make a tutorial about how we can make a cinematic view for videos?
I Prefer to use a XBOX controller for the drone camera, and the problem I think with setting up customs views is that you have to remember what key numbers go with what views. It would be better if a user could label them, a bit like how XCamera on Xplane does it. I wish Asobo would upgrade this feature.
The only thing that upsets me in the MSFS is when you are in the Showcase views, in a short time the horizon begins to start to rotate which means that you have to press the space bar to get everything level again.
Xbox controller is very smooth and intuitive for the drone camera for msfs. It's amazing!
I've been Xplane since XP8.. but earlier this year I bought an XboXseries to see what all the fuss was about..
it's absolutely awesome but this is what I really wanted/needed to see! thanks!
You mentioned left, right, forward and back, roll and rotate but you forgot the translate drone up and down option with keyboard commands, R and F, I think, very important option. Also, you should recommend that you change the save view commands to Cntrl Num then access it with just Num. That gets rid of the Alt key and makes it a lot easier to use and remember. Otherwise, clear and helpful video for someone new to this. 👍🏻
Not in every plane you can leave the cockpit just trsaspassing the door/walls, can you?
Great, great video Q8
You are one of the treasures of the Flight Sim community.
This has helped greatly with my struggle with MSFS views. Now I can move the viewpoint further from the plane to reduce the fisheye distortion that is built into MSFS, that makes (especially big planes) look stupidly cartoonish.
Apparently the sim is designed for the pilot/player to be sitting close to a wide-screen flat monitor, but I'm happy that SU 10 will have settings to change the nature of the display. The current view's central bulge toward the viewer is (for me) disturbing and unpleasant when sitting back to enjoy on a 4K 65" screen.
Thanks! Wish FS2020 had as good a replay function as Xplane!
Great video! Is there any sort of flashing landing lights mod? A lot of times I will see 737s with flashing landing lights presumably to deter birds from approaching an aircraft.
You are a very good videographer.😊
rather good tutorial and a quick overview on the drone camera..well done sir / left a discord message for you
