Barbaria is a hilarious game with surprisingly good combat, that seems to be a VR version of 'The Mighty Quest for Epic Loot' but on VR. So it doesn't look like it's gonna have a really lengthy lifespan – the last game didn't. So I say, get on it and have fun while you can.
The upcoming action RPG Battle Talent, has combat physics and mechanics that trounce every other game like it, INCLUDING Blade and Sorcery. It's currently in Demo phase, pre release, and is a bit stuttery / laggy and bare bones, but still has more content than every other game like it. The demo has a sandbox mode, a story progression lite, a procedural replayable dungeon, and a boss with special animations at the end.
If the dev manages to sort out the issues with that game it will defeat BnS.
Great video! For anyone watching, I'd recommend trying a VR studio as well as then you get to truly try an immersive experience that takes things a lot further than VR games you can do at home. We went to Sandbox VR – and made a video about the experience – where we played an amazing zombie game!
Beyond console-related games, we also would highly recommend hitting up a studio such as Sandbox VR where you can experience various immersive virtual reality games. We recently did that and made a video about it – and it was sooooo much fun. https://youtu.be/XzrxmtinM9g I think hitting up a studio and try the experience there will give you a more immersive experience as they have technology that is not yet part of household items.
the new blaze rush is good
i have tried assetto corsa and project cars and i would say that ac is so much better
Vr racing Automobilista 2 hands down for me. But almost all sim race games can be played in vr. And this year F1 2022 will also feature vr support for the first time.
What is the game you are playing at the start?
one game i would like to see here is Into The Radius, a horror survival game with really immersive mechanics.
I have VR since 2017 only due to sim racing (it is impossible to play on monitor once you try VR racing), but I really enjoy a few ultra top titles only like Alyx, Walking dead and Gunman contracts is my absolute favourite even though it is just a mod.
I hope far point comes to PCVR because I’ve heard you give it praise too many times for me not to want to play it
Automobilista 2 is in my opinion the racing sim in VR. ACC looks better slightly but the ams2 runs a lot smoother on a semi basic gaming machine and the car selection is a lot more varied.
Blaston deserves to be on this list
Great detailed list! Racing is not for me but I know a lot of people who love that. The modders have been nailing it lately! I don’t have a PSVR (too expensive for me at this time) but those games look cool too! Thanks again for all your hard work!
At this time Assetto Corsa is the best. The modding community is keeping the game fresh. Major VR update was released few days ago. They implemented controllers to ingame and other graphical improvements
Farpoint was so good
DIRT Rally 2.0 is absolutely the best racing game. Assetto Corsa is a close second. Im not a fan of F1, so cant comment on that.
As for the rest of the games, I think Down the Rabbit Hole deserved to be at least in one of the categories, very nice puzzle/platformer/story driven game.
But thank you, very nice video, and keep them coming
Sprint vector is a great racing game but I couldnt find anyone online seems dead
Too bad you forgot about Wraith The Oblivion Half Life Levitation Into The Radius Hellsweeper (upcoming) Hard Bullet Stride Myst Vr Cooking Simulator Into the Darkness (upcoming) Hubris (upcoming) Lonn (upcoming)
Favorite racing game right now is Automobilista 2. It's the spiritual successor to Project Cars 2 and so much better physics/AI wise.
Don't know if you've played it but shadowgate VR is a really great puzzle game
1v1 me in ironlights scrubs
#1 racing sim in VR: iRacing
for racing the only high end ones you didnt mention are
Iracing Raceroom Automobilsta Richard Burns rally with vr mod
Anyone looking for a great open worlds survival shooter. Go and play into the radius. Amazing
You have to try a racing sim in VR with a wheel. I don't know that you can get much more immersed than that.
my real life is in Elite Dangerous
risk of rain 2 vr mod is also really well done, for rogue like game.
from all the list u made… VTOLVR is my most played… over 130hr within 5 months
Cool video, but I think you missed a "chill-out puzzle" category, or something similar. No other way to include Tetris Effect or Cubism (and they must be in anyone's list), among others. Blaston should've been somewhere in the PvP category, IMO.
For VR racing games, I would say the 2 best ones with great VR implementation and easily accessible are Project Cars 2 and Automobilista 2. Other great VR racing games that I play regularly are Assetto Corsa, Dirt Rally and Dirt Rally 2. Assetto Corsa Competizione is good too but you need a powerful PC and even then its PITA to get running well without compromises to the graphical quality.
Farpoint is ok. It’s fun but the boobooazz tracking kills it.
Something should have surpassed half life Alyx by now.
SWORDSMAN VR hits the spot real good
SURV1V3 is another good coop horror game
Awesome video bro. I don't like racing games either lol but if I had a steering wheel setup I'm sure I'd change my mind.
Boneworks is one of the greatest. But i dont know calling it a sandbox game?. Yes it has a sandbox mode but i would call it a storydriven singleplayer shooter puzzler
I'm coming Sunday PCVR!!..
This is a very well done video thank you for your insight
