#1 2021 Genesis G70

Though released just a few years ago, Genesis G70 sedan arrives with a few comprehensive updates this year. First, you will notice the revamped exterior, that is carried out following the brand’s Athletic Elegance design language. The previously standard 2-liter base engine is expected to be replaced by the new 2.5L 4-cyllinder, same goes for the 3.3L turbo that is rumored to be abandoned in favor of 3.5L V6.

#2 2021 Genesis GV80

Eagerly anticipated since the 2017 release of the GV80 concept, the first SUV from the brand debuts as a 2021 model and it is everything we have been dreaming for. The model shares a number of similarities with the predecessor, but scores a more muscular shape and slightly more conventional, but at the same time attractive styling.

#3 2021 Genesis G90 Stardust

Rolls Royce is not the only premium brand that draws inspiration from the starry skies, in 2021 it is the turn of Genesis to explore the night scenes with this 50 units limited edition model. The Stardust takes the flagship G90 and outfits it with a two-tone black exterior.

#4 2021 Genesis G80

Once known as the Hyundai Genesis, this mid-size sedan enters its 3rd generation overall or 2nd generation as a part of the standalone marque.

#5 2021 Genesis GV70
Of course, our list would not be complete without the youngest Genesis model that was teased in Korea in late September. Though the 2021 Genesis GV70 crossover was revealed wearing camo with G-Matrix design pattern, we can instantly recognize the brand’s current design language from the familiar grille and headlights.

  1. I have just purchased a Pre-owned Genesis G90 5.0Htrac, coming from a 2009 Hyundai Genesis 4.6 which I had for six years reliability was a 10, I loved every minute driving it. This G90 is the same as well, I think I am never selling it the reliability is impeccable. I would choose this over a Rolls Royce Ghost. They can keep a Audi A8, BMW 7 series, Mercedes S-Class, Lexus LS, GENESIS is my first Choice in luxury Sedans period. I love everything Genesis is creating, the Genesis G70,G80,G90 of course. The Genesis GV80 is awesome the upcoming Genesis GV70. Hopefully a GT Genesis in the future. I might buy another Genesis back from 2011 or 2012 Genesis 5.0 R Spec that car was awesome as well and the Equus. The reliability are a 10 on all of them.

  2. Currently own a G80 and a Santa Fe. Owned a Genesis Coupe 3.8 before. I always thought that 3.8 engine was great but needed a turbo on it to destroy the Mustangs and Camaros. So, my choice would be get one in production and put that 3.5tt engine in it NOW! Buy my next one will be another G80. The coupe was so fast I worried about tickets any time I drove it. Getting older is a bitxh!

  3. Dear VW group, Mr. Albert sends his regards. Thanks to him, our humble family will replace you. After all the crap youve pulled over the past two decades, you get what you deserve.

  4. Only if they have better driving dynamic and more horsepower then the Germans should be worried until then nothing to worry about nothing

  5. Why would anyone pay 20-30k more for other brands when Genesis not only looks better, but gives you way more for the money?

  6. I'm on my third Genesis right now (G90 Ultimate) and will stay with the brand as long as they keep putting out top quality vehicles!

  7. I really like this car ,and OMG beautiful!! But , once again, it’s a Hyundai . ( How many old Hyundai’s do you see on the road . look and see how many Mondays that are 15 year old people are still driving )

  8. I see a lot of Genesis vehicles on the road,. It is no longer a question of can they compete, they are competing and in some cases beating the traditional luxury brands especially in features and price points.

  9. Genesis is bringing the heat to the Germans and left the American luxury's behind also their becoming pretty compatible to Lexus. However Acura & Infinity to really step up.

  10. Are you hired by Hyundai/Genesis? Why is nobody talking about the mechanical problems the GV80 is having in Korea? Before you say “that’s only the diesel engines”…. I’ll stop you. They’ve also got problems with a fuel gauge and something to do with the transmission. It’s all being kept very hush, hush. Not everyone has forgotten what Hyundai quality used to be like and I’d hate to see their luxury brand revert to their old ways…. I have a GV80 on reserve so I have been reading every single article I can find. Oh…. and to answer your question… Genesis has a long way to go before they’ll be competing with the Germans. I’ve sat inside the new GV80 and turned it on… it doesn’t come close to the Germans. However, if the reliability is there in these new models…. they most certainly will blow the Japanese luxury brands out of the water!
