  1. These guys seem so interested in this conversation lol this is the first video I’ve seen of this podcast and they are so boring they should for sure erase this clip.

  2. Don’t take the bait Nintendo, Sony priced the PS5 Pro that high to make it seem ok that Nintendo should also price the Switch 2 (tentative) when it arrives, in a similar fashion. Sony is not used to being in second place with the console wars.

  3. @ 2:13 Tbh it depends on which games will even take advantage of that technology. The concept of not having to choose between fidelity and performance would be a massive upgrade…if the game you play will implement it. For instance. I mainly play Apex Legends. And the picture quality on performance mode for ps5 is horrible. But on fidelity mode it looks great but only 60 hz. So if they could combine the two to get fidelity mode level graphics but with performance mode 120 hz that would be an awesome upgrade for Apex Legends ps5 players. But there also no telling how long it would take for games to implement it either. It took Apex 3 years for them to finally add 120 hz mode. Who knows how long it would take for them to implement it this time around?! So ultimately I think the concept of combining fidelity and performance would be a great upgrade depending on what games you play though. But even still with that being, $700 is crazy lol.

  4. PC components are just more expensive the last few years and people buy every year or two a new phone for 1K how do people cry over the Pro, i dont use discs because my game are all digital.

  5. With that price and hardly any improvement, gaming is now like cell phones: I used to get every new one, but now I don't. I'm good with my cell phone and I'm good with my PS5 disc version with stand.

  6. No point wondering too much, they did low ball the announcement. 10min segment, no clear features, price will always be too expensive but it sure is inspired by scalpers market data (remember $800 ps5 in 2020).

  7. Graphics snob here. I can see the difference in the graphics comparison. The problem is… the general public cannot. I can immediately tell graphical quality loss between native graphics and dlss performance to quality settings. Again… the general public cannot. That's the major problem. Nobody can justify this amount of money for a gaming console that they cannot easily see a difference. I, someone who has the money to easily buy this thing, will not. That's another problem. If I cannot justify the cost, I know damn well someone saving up for this is out of that conversation. They probably already have a PS5 and that's more than enough for most folks.

  8. The PS3 was $600 nearly two decades ago. People were outraged then, but it went on to sell more units than the Xbox 360. And that never had a "Pro" version. I'm so confused by these price complaints, literally everything costs more nowadays, and this is STILL a better value proposition than we used to get with consoles.

  9. The no disc drive in the box(console) is the hard pass for me what a let down I would've given my money instantly specially to the 30 year anniversary ps5 pro it's 🔥… what a shame

  10. Dollars and donuts. Almost no performance gain, those who buy it will pay the concord tax. Sure the gpu is bigger, cpu will be bottle necked, just do a pc for this price lmfao!

  11. I feel like people are confusing the fidelity mode with the performance mode for the ps5 normal. It is sounding way worse because of that…..not denying that it is bad🌝😂
