How much this drone cost?
Drones for asphalt shingle roof inspections are a waste of time and money…Most of the damage in a typical hail storm, not the massive hail you sometimes get, can only be seen by getting on the roof and using your eyeballs to deliniate what is damage and what is foot-fall etc…Been doing roofs for 20 years and I tell all my customers to tell the drone idiots to kick rocks…
I have called several "public" organizations to ask about how they are using drones. Most do not use contractors. They opt to have uas pilots on staff. They believe it is more cost efficient and provides a higher level of security. Commercial and industrial applications seem to be your best bet.

Would like to see the automatic mission for DJI
Being a M2EA owner, you couldn't 'scare' ANYTHING with that weedy speaker… they'd be more scared of the noise of the drone itself. Also the M2EA is no good for thermal surveys – the output videos aren't zoomed no matter on your zoom settings at the time.

What do you suggest I go after initially for thermal work , Im an electrical evaluator , qualified electrical worker , I recently got itc L1 aerial thermograper certificate and just got M3E and M3T, was interested to know what you think would be Jobs for people who have pilot and tech/some mapping, experience but little real world aerial thermograpgy experience , for now I'm training but I just got it so I was thinking of training at the mall has a parking lot with big solar bank .

Ha Ha Dont be fooled by all this. That Aerial Thermography course. They are laughing because they make a killing out of you. I did a fuel draining course so could go around to petrol stations and fix cars that had the wrong fuel put in them. Guess what? After paying. Doing the course. Passing Grade A. Go to the garages and find they dont care about the course. Work gets given to whoever. Life not what you know but defo who you know.
Get out there and speak to people and get to know people. Screw the expensive course. Wanna make money. Start running these courses. $2000 dollars. what a steal.
