Correction @6:35 realme is sub brand of Oppo. Poco is sub brand of Xiaomi
Solar panel phone is a good idea to get kids to play outside while waiting for their phone to charge
I edit 5-10 min vids on my M2 MacBook air – I have to clean out the video library memory often, but it works great!
2015 'Olympus' released the AIR A01 – a m43 sensor you strapped onto a mobile device, no fancy data pins so bluetooth/wifi via app but as it had no lenss it did allow you to use any of the m43 lenses, zooms to primes. …weird seeing things coming back as 'new'.
Please do a special podcast for the main channel 20M subscribers coming soon!!! You guys could think of great stuff to talk about im sure. Plus, more MKBHD trivia! Trivyyuhh dude
One of my favorite cameras was the Olympus air. It was a micro 4/3 camera, but it had no viewfinder or anything. The idea was, you would clip it onto a case with your phone, and your phone was a view finder. I absolutely love the versatility of it, and I’m sad that that it never took off.
My nubia music 2 is at custom right now and I can't wait to try out audio
1:01:05 there is google keep with built-in ai, why make another (proprietary) notes app that no one will use?
There should be a mini screen for full podcast so we know what you guys are looking at
Build a fun phone that are cheap so everyone can buy!!
loved it!
REVIEW LIGHT PHONE 3
OK, first they say Realme is a sub brand of Xiaomi, and them the guy talks about Nubia like its some hidden secret brand, lol, are you guys really a tech podcast?
Great drinking game. Take a shot every time David says “Let’s Go!”
19:10 I'd rather have solar on the deck of the laptop with many small diode'd cells(so partial shading doesnt make the entire solar array drop to the output of the shaded area).
You're going to get a small amount of power from the lid from bounce light when open, but you basically need to close this laptop to get reasonable ammount of power Now it is impressive that you can get 1 hour of battery life with 20 minutes of exposure, but if i'm going to be in a situation where i cant charge from the grid, i'll just bring solar panels and my 1300Wh battery pack+inverter+solar MPPT
This laptop is for the rare case where you have to fly somewhere on a non-private plane, so you cant take your 800Wh+ battery bank with MPPT solar inverter and solar panels. But then cant have something shipped to where you'll be off grid ahead of time. Heck half the time if i'm buying something i'm going to use something on vacation, i'll just ship it to where i'm vacationing after reaching out to see if thats allowed so i only have to worry about bringing it back, even though 99% of my travel is in my own or extended family vehicles
The Premium Lite page puts me in a refresh loop. Apparently lots of folks on reddit are having issues swapping to Premium Lite.
My problem with the new removable camera Its been done before, with larger sensors, and interchangable lenses This seems to be a non removable lens version of the Sony one from like 2014 where you could use any and every sony lens.
What i want is Android, on an actual camera, it started out as a camera OS, and it needs to come back. I'm not saying we need an android phone with a lens with no buttons or controls, i'm saying we need to add android with all of the existing wonderful buttons wheels, dials, and quick action menus. The various syncing apps to copy them to your phone are absolutely horrible, just put android on it, have an optional SIM card for a tablet plan, but most people would be happy with a hotspot from their phone. But i want to be able to fold out my flippy screen Z-Flip style for a full phone OS and apps. Imagine each photo you take getting synced to your home backup and our cloud service of choice.
I dont want 7 different $500+ camera+lens modules for my phone I'd rather plug a little adapter in to the Mi hot shoe on my sony camera, that then both mounts the phone, and plugs into the USB-C port of the phone.
Edit, Sony was on the right track with their Sony Xperia Pro, this was a phone with HDMI input that was meant to ingest HDMI from the camera. Now they need to upgrade to USB-C so the phone can integrate with the camera.
Apparently M4 Ultra wont exist bc it lacks the connectors needed for the Maxs…
I wish the sensor and lens were separate so it would become an interchangeable lens camera. If it had the L mount then it would actually be revolutionary.
