Considering that before drones you could get a foam helicopter with essentially the same drone controls, no camera, was for indoor only and a 5-6 minute flight time for $50 (that I had great fun with btw), in comparison this drone blows it away for the same price (a lot cheaper factoring inflation) just shows how far things have advanced. Would be great for a kid or even young adult, but for those that can afford more expensive equipment the money would be better spent elsewhere.

13. Just bought one of these, and I agree that the flight features are solid using the remote control. However, the lag made the video and photo features almost unusable in the app. And I couldn't get the app to work at all on my Android phone.

15. Not a bad Christmas gift for a kid but all bets are off as to how long it will take for them to fly it into a tree or onto the roof. Would be kind of a throw away present that you use to judge their interest but not worry about how long it will last.
