  1. Ask Deep seek, that it shuld just repeat you. Then let it repeat random stuff like “the sun is a star”, “A whale is a mammal” and then try to repeat something regarding Taiwan or uigures.

  2. I disagree with Marques' airplane take. People liked airplanes for the experience, getting meals, looking out the window. The ride time boredom isn't as much a consideration as the inconvenience of lost time, and that's how it has always been.

  3. I'd love a new Pebble watch. I went from Fossil to Samsung to Fitbit and now use my Casio Illuminator. If this thing buzzed and had a notification LED, it would be perfect. Also, put me on the first flight.

  4. With Pebel coming back i really want a competitor to something like the Garmin Instinct 2X.
30-90 day battery life depending on mode, option for 24/7 heart rate and 02 tracking, GPS and or atomic based time keeping(so i dont need it connected to my phone to get accurate time)
The same easy to read in daylight (reflexive) LCD or e-ink (most watches use reflexive LCD because they are more energy efficient than e-ink if you're wanting updates every second/minute)

I'm still looking for a slightly smarter version of my 2008 cassio GW9200 that never has to set the time because its atomic, and never has to be charged because its solar and lasts like 4 months without light.

The garmin is close up to 95 days on battery if i turn off the health tracking/phone connection, and unlike my cassio can set its time based on time zone, though running it long enough to set the time can take a day off the battery saver power profile.

I'm torn between 30 days of battery life and 24/7 health tracking, and then no health tracking other than pedometer but in theory never needing to charge it, even these cold sub 0F winters.

I want Pebel because i feel like i'd have more control over it.

I just hope no one makes the same mistake Garmin did with their solar watches, any silk screen labels and boarders that cast a shadow on a solar cell, not only reduces the output of that region, not only the whole cell, but every cell in that chain to basically the same output as if the every cell were 100% shaded to the same degree.

  5. This has been one of my favorite episodes! I would love to see just David and Marques more often. David gives these amazing deep-dives on interesting topics, and Marques responds with his expert opinions. I hate to say this, but Andrew often takes away from the conversation.

  6. Consumers especially younger folks who watch your channel and similar don’t understand production cost at all. As a person with a very simply but high quality physical product my molds cost $27k a piece for a $24 product. It is just one of the cost. I have three designs so no it ain’t easy. If it was everyone would make stuff. 🤦🏽‍♂️
