  1. What is the reason to buy a minivan over say a Tahoe or Expedition with captains chairs in the back? Don’t those have a option for TVs and they are bigger

  2. That thumbnail… fashion crimes with big brand names! On a more serious note, a sedan with a hatchbatch, long enough to be considered a “station wagon” would be more fuel efficient. But not as roomy as a minivan!

  3. Demonstrates one of the main things I prefer about "regular" cars compared to the new EV generation – use of physical controls. I do NOT like all the touch screen stuff. Requires too much attention away from driving. And a question since I'm in TX where cars heat up fast in summer – do those seat-cams come on when you turn off the car to remind parents not to leave kids in the car? Might be a good feature to add if not.

  4. We rented a minivan for a 10 day road trip and hated it for our use. It felt horrible to drive through the Rockies. If we need another vehicle and we're driving though mountains we won't be getting another minivan

  5. Nah dude, if you have kids at all you should get one. They are good at what they are built for. And big sliding doors makes carseats 100X easier to move around. Especially in tight parking spaces

  6. If that inflator's battery is lithium you SHOULD NOT leave it in the car, especially in hot areas. It's a real fire hazard. Please don't encourage people to leave it in their car 😅.

  7. My Odyssey never looks cool. But there's nothing like it for transporting my family of five.

    1. Sliding doors and low deck for short legs.
    2. Walk path for easy access to 3rd row seats.
    3. Cargo for DAYS!

  8. I've borrowed the Chrysler Pacifica and really enjoyed it.
It's spacious, comfortable and utilitarian in a way SUV aren't. Not to mention the lower fuel requirements and the unparalleled road-trip experience.

    People WANT TO SHOW OFF.
They are essentially "driving their wealth" (their debt).
They want vehicles that make them look rich – on the road – without making them look feminine.
The minivan looks effeminate and many people – even females would rather drive an SUV – any SUV – to avoid looking effeminate.

CHILDREN are the main reason you buy one. These things are easy to clean, have tons of storage space and offer far more practical and economical benefits.

But the average American would rather WASTE MONEY.

Solution: build a minivan and slap a big price tag on it and the name Lamborghini or Ferrari on it and the badgewhores will LINE UP claiming "it's a sportbrake" or it's a "SUV" when it really isn't.

No wonder repos on underwater auto loans are so high right now.

  9. People deem it as a middle age woman crisis. Men will instead buy a truck and put a topper. Its practically a minivan at that point. But a big truck is super macho. Unless you need to tow stuff, a truck is stupid. SUVs are almost there but you get better trunk space and better 3rd row seats in a van. SUV is good for couple and likes 1 child. anymore kids you just need a minivan at that point.

Minivans are so practical. You can transport alot of stuff. Great for moving and its automatically covered. If you take out the seats theres so much storage. And you can easily turn it jnto a camper.

  10. Let's face it, minivans are SUV's for people who are less insecure. Neither of them are exactly cool, but atleast the minivan is honest and actually good at what it does.

  11. Picked up a 2000 Grand Caravan for $1000 about 15 years ago. Slowly fell in love with it: great visibility, great stereo, removable seats, lots of power and decent mileage. And at over 6 feet tall I had tons of leg room! I drove it into the ground but there have been many days where I wished I still owned it.

  12. Minivans are great. People just bought SUVs because it has some idiotic lifestyle aspirational bollocks attached to it. They're rubbish. Minivans make better use of their space and are more aerodynamic. You're not cooler in your SUV, especially when everyone has an SUV, you're just not.

  13. It depends on the country, idk maybe the us doesnt really consider to buy a minivan. But in my country every house got a minivan for daily use
