the love i have for this podcast is on another level
I listen to this podcast at 1.75x speed all the time. Watch other tech videos at 1.5x speed and listen to all songs at 1x speed.
I guessed Amazon too
This is super random but Adam's picture in picture. Remind me of the Atlas movie on Netflix with JLo super AI super future and you might like just a couple of the aspects of the future tech in that movie if you love JLo you'll like the movie if you like sci-fi you like the movie if you like neither of those it might annoy you
Andrew is always wearing brewery shorts and hats, can we get a segment about craft beer or tech in craft beer?
Definitely listened to the last half hour of this on 2x; usually I do 1.5x.
Did you say you're coming to Australia? Awesome. Drop me a message my family and I will make sure the beers are cold and we'll go to a nice pub. No tech talk. ๐
8:08 Wait did Marquess just say the S24 Ultra has a 10X telephoto and therefore has longer range zoom than the Pixel? It has a 5X now, same as the Pixel.
"2 x speed baby" ๐
Hey why dont you try ather scooter if you call yourself a tech and automotive enthusiast
I've just decided to increase my watch speed… I feel like I can get so much more content downloaded into my brain!
1:21:10 Ellis yelling reminds me Wheatley from Portal games.
OMG Andrew I also do that in the car, I thought I was alone xD For me I drive a lot and I get tired of listening to the same music and radio is also not my thing so I just throw on some YouTube video
@ellisrovin3501 @Manganellia1 Huawei phones are still available in Europe (at least in Bulgaria) and a lot of "regular" people still use them. It just sucks they don't have Google services, so no power user would ever buy them.
1:20:26 Open the Google standalone app, tap your face profile pic, select Settings, scroll to Other Settings, deslect Open web pages in the app.
You can thank me later ๐
Call recording as a consumer would be great. Companies like Verizon need to be recorded and held accountable.
AI is needed to fact check David's BS. Eric Schmidt was not a co-founder of Google.
1:14:07 everytime the podcast just dials down to the guys talking about their weird habits make me love this pod even more๐ฅน๐ฉท
The leaks said the name of the new iPhone 16 pro is desert rose. So a bronze copper rose gold mix of colors. I hated the natural titanium in renders and online but in person it was gorgeous so Iโm sure this new color will have the same effect.
1:20:20 I use a chrome widget for my on-screen search bar, it acts just like the google app but uses chrome. Game changer. Every new search opens a new tab.
Y'all starting it off with a "Cool S" demo messed my head up. ๐

Why was that impression of the sound emoji so accurate ๐ญ๐ญ
Andrew thank you so much for listening to videos and not watching them when you drive because yes that's a thing here in La good Lord I knew I liked you for a reason
On today's episode, Andrew discovers sports radio
1:20 in with Reddit links.. don't have that problem on iPhone 13 Pro non-beta..
I actually watch this podcast on 2x :/
1:16:16 bro why does this always happen!!! Never watched a WAN show in my life but I always wake up to it playing ๐
@52:40 Procreate is literally one of the most if not the most used app for designers and interior architects on the iPad. Y'all got something wrong about creative tools. Architects and designers (or any creative really) will need different tools at different stages of the project's process. In the creative phase, "simple" tools such as procreate or even the notes app are amazing for ideating, brainstorming, doodling and even doing full on hand made renderings (which some might argue is a very pleasurable activity, you know, the creative part etc etc). Procreate fans that have been dreading AI tools from procreate are rightfully coming from a place of distrust because these tech companies just keep training their models on their labour without consent (as in stealing). Why would creatives receive such a technology with open arms ? Why is anyone surprised about Procreate's CEO response. Where "AI" (in parenthesis because the term has become a all in word for complex algorithms) are helpful, are in all the non-valuable sh*t that we have to do that we literally do not provide value in (drafting, spending hours doing 3D models, doing simulations, calculus, etc). Where creatives are needed is in creating, we do not need a machine to "riff out some ideas to get the ball going". Like, why would we offset the thing we like most (doing art) to a machine? so we can spend more time filling spreadsheets and invoices ? Why is this still a debate ???
the 2x argument was my favorite section of this pod๐ "music sucks these days"
Gonna clip David's impression of the party sound and use it as a notification
I am attempting to retain legal counsel to initiate a class action lawsuit regarding the color of text message bubbles on the basis of privacy concerns. By displaying Android text messages in green bubbles, the recipient can discern that I am not using an iPhone. I contend that the recipient should not be able to ascertain my operating system based solely on the color of a text bubble.
1.25x is best for long videos and some slower speakers but not if video is lower than 1080p30 on 4k tv.
It would be better to have full charge in 30 min but charge twice daily if needed.
When David brought up listening to everything at 2x speed, I turned the video to 2x. That conversation was hilarious, I definitely felt the anxiety lol.
They never talk about the Audio emojis that the pixel phones have. Its the most useless feature…But its a fun one to use on the phone with someone.
6 hour edit is insane
I don't listen to things at 2x speed but also not 1x always right in the middle, 1.5x always
I watch all YouTube videos on 2x speed. There is just too much stuff to watch and games to play. Sometimes I even watch tv shows on 1.5x speed…
The dude in the blue cap is so bad. And he looks like a npc the way he sits there and moves his eyes around
Holding onto my iPhone 13 mini, until a new mini comes out.
Commenting for the iPhone mini support (shout out Ellis!) Love my 13 mini and would like an upgrade alternative to come out by 2026/2027
Is it just me, or is this podcast becoming more and more enjoyable to listen to? The synergy, the jokes, etc… i love it !
๐ ๐ ๐ I'm so guilty of speeding through the pixel intro….I only went back to the comments cuz the comments said it was really good ๐๐
