Are they at least now rolling out Gemini to all countries?
So Pixel 9a is going to be awesome
Look nice the flod
it's GRIPPY!
A pixel with an iPhone design
Google: how do we make our phones look premium?
Easy…just copy the iPhone.
I'm excited for all you have explained and more!
Thanks as always M.
Watched the whole release event, and just ordered the smaller Pro, woohoo!
They actually look good
how does the chipset compare to the iphone and other android counterparts?
Appple needs to get their crap together. The whole reason I haven’t updated the ip11 is because I like the software but want a folding phone
These camera bumps are horrendous
Front way they look like Samsung
I don’t know why I don’t like this video. Something about the tone and pace. Take your time, as you’ve always done MKBHD. I’ll wait for the full review.
It looks like Google are really interested in competing with Apple in the smartphone space.
Design is spot-on this year.
Not with this cpu. Not even remotely close.
That camera bump ugh…
I still can't get over how hot my pixel 7 gets sometimes, especially when I am recording video outside. It'll literally just stop recording because it's overheating.
Don't forget to give the ultrasonic fingerprint reader a good test. It's literally a feature most people use tens of times per day and if it doesn't work well it is a big hit to the quality of life of the phone.
You know what Google conveniently didn't mention about all the AI stuff? PRIVACY. Everything you do, see and say is logged to the cloud (and then sold to advertisers). I'd rather have fully offline like Apple.
I would like a comparison of the cameras between the 9 fold and the 9 pro
1.2million in 4 hours is crazy
that group photo feature is sickk, id just take one where there's a 100 of me lol
Piss take prices ..Google phones are just morphing into Apple iPhones ..
In my opinion, these smartphones are an absolute waste of money. Especially the above 1000$ ones.
I'm using a pixel 7, it was 300€ second hand and it basically does everything these above 1000$ flagships do. I mean, 99.999999% of the time I'm using it for WhatsApp, Instagram, YouTube, Reddit, calls or photo's and the pixel 7 is super snappy there. The pictures are almost if not entirely undistinguishable between newer pixels and the pixel 7. And for AI, the useful features, such as selecting pictures and text from the app screen, are also there…. To me it seems like 99.99% of the people shouldn't spend more than 600€ on a phone. Also battery life is not really improving, screen/body ratio peaked a couple of years ago. These 0.001% who need it are in the weird Spot of actually needing the extra power for their influencer life without buying a full size camera + laptop for whatever reason. Or maybe they see it as a hobby, tech can also be a hobby and I feel that.
nice, can't wait to install grapheneos on it to ditch all AI-SHIT and spyware
Why are all manufacturers trying to look and feel like iphone. They’re losing their uniqueness .
Thin bezels? We're not looking at the same phone then
Which weather app do you use on android?
Watching on a pixel 7
I've own 2 generations of google phones and sadly have experienced multiple QC issues in both phones. Very anecdotal, but I gave em a chance and I wanted to try one of those chinese brands with the crazy fast charging anyways.
Mad love Marques, but kind of hoped you hit the glass at the end
I have an old pixel 7 Pro. The 5x camera is the one I like most. It is good quality and gives the chance to take really nice portraits with a shallow depth of field
For me AI in phones and gadgets feels the same way as Ray-Tracing was introduced in GPUs years ago – a nice feature to have but not that important. Something tells me it's not going to be used that much
Still gigantic front camera dot
This guy is the next Mr Beast. Not impartial. Musk love in. Ripping off his dams by selling them high price low grade sneakers.
