What I think as funny is that Apple used to release the entire OS at once. Google used to announce and then release over the year. Both were criticized for the way they did it. Then Google began to drop more at the beginning and Apple began to spread it out. I’d rather know what’s coming at the beginning and then have it arrive when it’s ready, rather than quickly, but with a lot of bugs. Both Apple and Google are pretty good in coming out with the features they announce, even if they come out a few months later. People just aren’t patient these days.
Exoskeletons aren’t anything new. The military has been working on them since the 1950s. These are interesting, but the way they attach isn’t going to be that effective. I’m not saying they don’t do anything, but they won’t do much. It will be interesting to see what they do with them in the third generation, if they’re still around. The necklace seems very Japanese. Emojis were really meant for the Japanese, who are very shy, though I’m not sure if shy is the real word. Introverted works as well. It was easier to send an emoji to someone than to write your feelings down and send that to them. They already have online friends and dating. Some of that is here, but we feel very strange about it, but there, it’s fairly common, particularly for men. It also why sex dolls that are very realistic are also more common than we would think, including robotic versions, again, mostly for men.
My mom sends me 5+ min voice memos all the time. Not very skippable, unfortunately.

I've spent so many hours playing quidditch world cup on playstation 2. If it's similar here how it goes: You basically play with the chasers with the quaffle and score points. Once in a while you can use the beaters to hit a bludger towards an opponent chaser, if you hit em you get the quaffle back. Also each team has a special team move that you can use like once or twice per game which guarantees 1-3 goals (10-30 points). Meanwhile, a golden snitch bar, which is basically a snitch cut in half for each team, fills up with each goal you or the opponent scores, and once the 2 halves meet, your seekers get into action. The more of the gold bar you got during the game, the more speed boost you get to reach the snitch. Once you do, you press a button to catch it and that's it. If you managed to have more than 150 points difference you win anyway (usually in easier levels), if not you must catch the snitch… There are some other stuff like combos etc, but that's the gist

My dad needs these! He just tore his Achilles about a month ago surgery went well, but he also needs a double knee surgery and the other Achilles needs repaired. He struggles to walk around cause he can’t put weight on the Achilles surgery, but his good leg is also as bad knee. The auto-reply feature in text messages has been inconsistent for me as well. However, it is currently in Beta 1. Additionally, you can provide suggestions to improve the feature, which I hope people are doing beyond simply criticizing Apple. If you are, I suggest you discontinue using Betas and wait for the final versions before offering your final review, in my opinion.

i've done lucid dreaming countless times, but i find it struggling to keep dreaming when you are aware. As far as controlling your dream goes, i usually try to fly around, but that requires hard concentration, and sometimes i wake myself up if i concentrate too hard. Basically juggling between reality and dream.

After a couple of years of using frontier AI conversational and companion apps for fun and testing, I can confidently say that I prefer human connections. I want an AI that knows it’s an AI and doesn’t try to act like a human, but that sounds human enough for natural conversations. Apps like Replika don’t really appeal to me. When an AI says, “I did this or that human action,” I get turned off, haha.
Yes people want the AI tools and features and the future will be 100% ai work and humans supported by ai who get to live any life they choose as a result without the need for work.
