Back then my friend and I got an iPhone 5 went back to the store because my phone was too hot compared to my friend's doing the same task without the case. Apple said its my fault and told me that I lied not dropping the phone so I can get a replacement, mind you that was one week after the purchase. Didn't get the help I need so I swapped it instead to an Xperia.
Why does people keep buying a phone with prison as the OS and parts is beyond me. Just for small bit of animation.?

People call me weird or give me strange looks when I talk to them about my staunch avoidance of certain companies and whenever I point to anti-consumer shit like this the response is the same: "It doesn't happen to me so why should I care?" It's such a shitty stance to have and all you need to do is think of the old WW2 memorial poem "First they came…" to understand why it's important to hold ANYONE accountable for shit like this even if it's not happening to you. Some day it could, then what happens? How many more people do they have to fleece? How many more consumer rights do they need to violate? How much more human rights laws do they need to violate before enough is enough?
I wish people were less obsessed with consuming the shiny new thing and actually looked even one or two levels deeper to see the shit under the veneer.
End Citizens United now. They killed the mom and pop tennis shop doing the same thing. You can't just sell Wilson tennis racquets, for example. You have to buy the whole fucking tennis products line: shoes, strings, balls, clothing, bags, etc. Over $10 grand in new products. Only the huge online warehouses can afford this. For years now Apple hardware design seems to be a combination of incompetence, ignorant and malicious design, they have a monopoly on what can run their software so no competition or incentive to actually do better.. It seems a lot is just hiring people that don't know what they are doing, and management thatonly cares about hitting dates and margins. They will weasel their way out of anything and blame the customer. Just remember, if customers put up with this shit, it will continue.

10 years later, now I finally know why my iphone 6+ bent. However to give credit to Apple Singapore's RMA service, when I brought it to them, they gave me a refurbished phone straight away with my data transferred.
Refurbished iphone 6+ works still several years later, and no bending so far…..
