  1. Been following you since you started.

First YouTuber to finally show us this. And so in depth.

Was waiting for a video like this and not at all surprised it was from MBKHD.

    Thank you sir.

  2. I develop industrial production equipment that makes antireflective, anti-scratch, and anti-fingerprint coatings on screens. Did you see the test hardware for these properties there?

  3. Ah yes, the "OMG my iPhone is so bad for the planet argument" from the same people who use k-cups, eat exclusively on paper plates, run through paper towels at an alarming rate, eat out for every meal, utilize excessive amounts of energy, the list goes on and on.

  4. Saying that what they are doing is better for the environment is insane when they’ll go out of their way to sue companies that re-sell used iPhones instead of shredding them.

  5. In terms of water test, they use distilled water for all tests, real world, we have pool water, sea water, tap water, all have chemicals that could wear down the seal on devices and could potentially compromise the ip rating on the device

  6. My family went camping along Lake Erie one summer and my dad lost his Apple Watch in the waves. About 1-3 months later, while we were swimming with extended family, my mom got a call from the campground. Someone found the watch and brought it to office of the campground, then they called the emergency contact that was on the watch (which was my mom’s number). They shipped it to us and it came back with a rough screen and chipped paint from rolling in the waves. It’s crazy to think that it still works!!!

  7. Hard disagree about repairability. This isn't about water tight seals, this is about software lockouts and malicious changes against repairability for the sake of greed. Bad take there bud.

  8. his explanation that is harder to repair because is durability is higher is kind of pointless if you see for example macbook air, because you cant even upgrade the RAM, , so why not make it upgradeable en same time durable.

  9. I would rather have a super reliable device than have the ability to repair it myself.
I know Louis Rossmann would disagree but I really don't give a shit what he thinks.

  10. I unintentionally discovered that my iPod touch from 2010 is washing machine resistant, cracked screen and all. Though I wouldn’t suggest intentionally testing that out.

  11. Apple's iphone screen is pretty impressive in terms of durability… i dropped my phone at least 30+ times on it's face and no cracks. I still have my iphone12.

  12. Wow, interesting to see that FelixBa was first on this one 👀 German YouTuber beating Marques was definitely not on my list for things to expect
