That light on the left is kind of distructing…kindly check on that
Great interaction
Ummm… final cut has audio support
Killer interview. Mariah rules – the studio CES episode settled it. Thank you!
It's about the project, not about your feelings. That was a great quote
Mariah is the realest in the game
Nice vid
your filter hue or studio is warm and reddish and in other hand Mariah is whitish
bro were u blushing while making this video? Further, she say 9-5 but her eye say otherwise , as if no sleep. Nice video keep going, give a brief inside MKBHD work
Great video 👍🏻
This is a great interview and very insightful.
My favourite mind on the MKBHD team. Mariah is the linchpin of everything they make. The best idea means nothing if it isn't presented the way she does. Genuinely one of my heroes.
For a one person show like myself, especially, since I’m still a nano channel, I found this video absolutely fascinating! The whole idea of having someone else working for the channel, and doing editing is such a fascinating concept to think about. It’s amazing to me how some of these channels are so large, that they really areindustries unto themselves. Definitely amazing. Not something I really aspiring to, but it is neat to see.
Nice podcasts, keep it up!
This was great! Thanks guys!
You can increase the value of this video by asking about the numbers…how much is she making as an editor…in general.
Great interview. Always love Mariah taking center stage.
This has been a WONDERFUL interview! Fantastic stuff, Tony. Mariah is awesome.
Mariah, like many video editors, zig. I'm going to zag by saying… video editing for YouTube videos should have no collaboration. I know it sounds crazy but hear me out. If you, as the video editor, have no say or collaboration in the pre production or production, then the people who do those things should have no say in the post production. Supply the video editor with notes and what you expect and then let them bring your vision to life. When 2/5/10 people all come in with their feedback, all that happens is the video gets watered down. It goes from being a unified cohesive work of art into a designed-by-committee piece of content. Let the video editor breathe and own it.
Solid host, quality info exchanged. Thanks for putting this together!
For motion graphics work, if the local graphics person can use Motion instead of AE, you'll be able to change a heap of things live on the timeline in FCP, way easier + more reliable than dynamic linking or MOGRTs. Or do the main animation in AE but add the text in Motion so it's editable? There are some nice workflows possible.
bro your questions are top notch
1. That's such a greaaaaat Thumbnail man, spot on
2. Just the idea of interviewing Mariah is awesome, let alone the fact that you got it. So nice you did this!
3. You’re a great interviewer and creator. Keep it up with this content.
4. Mariah is so nice. Very clever, smart, chill and cool… I feel like she should have her own channel actually.
