Looks interesting, though I'm never buying a Nintendo product ever again.
Don't take it personal Jedi: Survivor but starting tomorrow, I won't be seeing you for at least a few months.
I got a trip to Hyrule planned.
😅
Fantastic video John, but at 1:47 I think you meant "cannot be overstated" and not understated.
What i would give to play this game at 60+ fps.
soooooooooooooooo happppppppppppppppppppppppppppppyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Is the original trailer really better than what we are seeing? I dont think so tbh
lol drops framerates on a fairly regular basis & drops resolution = not too big for switch
If this were any other game you'd be harping on these problems instead of making excuses.
It's not "Too BIG" for my emulator and Ryzen 7700x I bet!
imagine another third party company rlease same map of game improvements with 30fps 900 720p. forget about 90 100 scores they not even give 60 and destroy the game.
$70 for 30 fps (not even in 1080p)… Waste of money
runs way better on pc, 60fps and 1440p with dynamic resolution modded out
This game is so amazing it makes me sad we don't have Metroid 4 yet. 🙁
Now imagine if nintendo took phil spencers attitude
… This is the first Zelda on console that I am not that excited about. I'm not ready to play such a huge game, but it sounds like the open world activities seem more engaging. Breath of the Wild, at least to me, shined as a game where you merely walk around and take in the ambiance, but as a game about going through a story, doing dungeons, and fighting bosses, it was disappointing and I found doing all the shrines a huge, repetitive waste of time.
I did like it, but not enough to want even more of it. It sounds like some of those issues are remedied. I'm not sure I am ready for the scope of it though, and I am in the middle of playing other things still (not nearly finished with Jedi Survivor on Series X, and just got a PSVR2 the other day). My brother bought this game, however, because it was 59.99 and assumes I am excited about it, which I do appreciate, and means I will start playing it tomorrow, but still.
It's good that it runs as as well as it can. Hopefully, we will see a more powerful console from Nintendo soon and this game get released running at 4k/60fps.
Who played it on emulator?
Man I just completely lost interest in this game about a month before release. I’m sick of playing games with sub optimal performance on a janky controller. Even playing it on PC how I want doesn’t appeal to me anymore.
I’ll just wait for the next switch to pick this one up. Lord knows Nintendo will port that shit immediately
Emulation will do this game justice.
480p 20fps.
Digital foundry has lost its way for praising this 😂
Another John Linneman video? Bet he's gonna say "vollometric" instead of "volumetric" again. Yep.
Looks great. I'm still convinced Tears of the Kingdom was intended to launch alongside a Switch Pro/Switch 2, but things just didnt come together in time to make it happen. Very excited to play this game as I loved Breath of the Wild.
Just play on PC with emulator…
Imagine buying Redfall instead of this game LMAO LMAO
Game looks like shit
I'd really want to know if I should get it digital or physical. Was thinking of Link's Awakening that was way better digital(?).
why can't Nintendo just use FSR 2, why does it always have to be FSR 1 with them….
