I have used the A72 for 2 years now, but the new A54 is a step back from my 2 year old phone. 6.4 instead of 6.7 inch display, 3 times optical zoom for the A72 while the A54 doesn't have an optical zoom. These things did me decide to go for the S23 ultra flagship again. I had the S10+ 4 years ago and the better chipset from the S23 compared to the A54 gave me the push to step up again to the flagship one. The A54 is too small for me for many reasons which where not seen in this video, like the use of the stylus and Dex.
12:45 I've recently bought a US S21 ultra and has better battery life than the a53
Just buy the outgoing superphone on sale then it is the same price like e.g. the s21 FE or sony 5 this is better value
Nothing phone 1!
I just stopped the video when he said Exynos
Beetlejuice yo 😀
can u change exposure time etc in a54 camera pro mode ?
Old flagship is always better
Cheap phones stay shit cuz you need snapdragon 800 to last long like a normal CPU. 700 while passable like everything else slows overtime
Hmmm…I still think the pixel 6a didn't get the review it deserved 🙁
When I hear Exynos with Samsung semiconductors….. I stopped watching. It’s going to be a hot phone.
Ya'll really forgot the front cameras ??
I love the percentage point style of comparison, its something i do in my head when comparing phones
If only OnePlus would make a Nord 3 as good as the original Nord was.
I don't come from a 1200 phone but I don't like my A52s. The images do feel bad and I feel like my Xiaomi Mi 9T from 2020 was better then my current A52s.
time to hike the price 🤑
The A Series is Lower in quality. Mine A 50 barely lasted two years. You geht what You Pay for quality wise
Should I upgrade from iPhone 11 (64GB and 4G) to Samsung Galaxy A54 (256GB and 5G).
I honestly give the A54 a 65 – 70 percent it doesn't win my small comparison of the outgoing s10/s10+ I would give the s10 75% and the s10+ 80%
isn't a good idea to just buy an older flagship ? Like an iPhone 11 or something from that era
U can't compare a54 and s23ultra because those two phones are targeted for two completely different type of people and there prices are also different…..
Is it better than an s21+?
I purchased a S21 ultra in pristine condition for $400…. So it's an interesting question as to whether I should have gone with the A54….
'Matching the flagship's finesse for a fraction of the funds' wonderful quote…
Just one correction, the frame is plastic, not aluminium. I have been rocking this phone for 2 and a half weeks and am satisfied so far. I used to buy only flagship phones, but the prices are just too high now and I am not willing to pay that much for a phone anymore.
A54 doesn't have an aluminum frame, its plastic.
Dear Marques, You are very talented. Is this something how you really wanna spend your time? Pointless comparisons of two slabs.
Seems like… in future A series will be the upcoming S series and S series will be the upcoming Note series
I bought the A54 2 weeks ago, ask me anything
I don't get, why there is a comparison with the s23 ultra instead of s23
Watching this on a52. Don't regret buying at all. Latest software, still good performance. I'll probably get a55 or a56 next
Do you review phones only for USA so you slap prices like it's for whole world? At least meantion prices in europe and somewhere else man.
Nice Bentley
"25W slow for 2023" laughs in iPhone
We need more videos like this.. people have been moving away from flagship prices….
give this the snapdragon 7 gen 2 and that's pretty much 80% of the performance
Junk phone, terrible features.
The only thing is sad that in a54 they put a weaker cpu than in a52s, almost two years ago the same segment phone had more power than the new one has now, what is going on with that? was suprised already that the a53 was weaker, but a54 also, cost saving after covid might be a factor when there was crysis with the silicone.
