I would recommend building 2 R2 options. On road and off road version. On road much more comfortable on the road no air suspension or anything. R2 full blown and off road capable vehicle. Customer will choose.
I use the speaker all the time. You can plug it in and use it as a main speaker. Whenever i travel to friends or airbnb Rivian speaker is always on. I'm glad it is the size and the quality it is.
I Hope they do a sports car
Sell the r1s for 35k
RJ can be the voice for Superman's animated series or even Hal Jordan's Green Lantern or Batman đą
Steve -o!!!!
My brother picked up a r1t. He loves it minus the vampires which have been slowly going away which each update. For an adventure truck, why not put a range extender in the fronk? He hasn't even used the fronk. About a tool chest for the gear tunnel?
Awesome, thank you both!
The audio is horrible. I am having difficulties on multiple systems… So much low rumble. Not enough 3.5k clarity…. C'mon people…
I wished you had asked why theyâre not coming to Europe yet.
Iâm gonna guess itâs because of Project Titan which is why they donât want to support CarPlay. Just a guess.
They need to work on profitability or they are not going to be around long.. Their product is very cool and I hope they make it but they are losing billions at the moment.
Android Auto and CarPlay don't "take over" the infotainment like he claims. They can still have their regular interface and support AndroidAuto and CarPlay. The real reason is the same reason GM is dropping support for them, revenue opportunities. Like with those app buttons on remotes for SmartTVs, they can charge platforms like Spotify, Waze, Amazon music, etc. for more prominent placement of their apps. If AndroidAuto and CarPlay are there then there is no reason for those platforms to pay Rivian and GM money to advertise their apps. This is all about money and not about providing the best experience like they claim.
Great interview. Insightful and fun. Love my R1T and I really hope they can stay alive. Such a well built truck thatâs super fun to drive.
Great interview. In terms of the "eventual" affordable EV's you need to spend a month filming in China, looking at the BYD's and Wulings, etc. They already exist and are coming to global markets in the near future…
IF Rivian continues to exclude CarPlay – third parties will thrive with add ones to meet that demand – Hard to abandon Waze, Gaia GPS, Sirius XM i use daily in my jeep
