14. The ATF has no authority to make law. Nor do they have the authority to regulate or change rules effecting the ownership of weapons or articles that have to do with the operation of said weapons . The ATF is not meant to be a judicial office . They are a regulatory office . And can only enforce such laws as are passed by Congress and the Senate.

I’m not sure Steven Dettelbach realizes how he has just tried to violate the constitution by using a rule to overrule a law and tenet of the constitution his atf does not have the ability as laid out in the constituion to right law is is demonstrating his lack of respect of and for congress if he does not understand the constitution and how it is written he should immediately resign or be removed from his duties as atf director immediately he is creating an atmosphere of contempt of the laws as they are written he has overstepped his authority and duty

Steven Dettelbach is a gun control advocate who should have no lace on the atf he is trying to remove millions of guns that are required by citezens to own in the defense of there country some of which are held and iwned simply to defend their country from enemies both foriegn and domestic I believe Mr Dettelbach would be considered a domestic one furthermore if he has complied any list or lists of any gun owners thru any mean he should be dealt with by the congress immediately is violating the law again I’m sure as a layer himself he should already be aware of he is creating an atmosphere of concern against his fellow citizens who are filling the laws of the land

They could have abolished the ATF or otherwise defunded it when they had all the branches aligned, they only take action when they can't do anything. Enjoy waiting for years for a case to go to the SCOTUS and hoping they will rule as the founders of this nation intended. I wonder what the founders would have thought about the decades of blatant unconstitutionality perpetuated by the executive and legislative branches. We already know because they enshired the natural right to take up arms in the constitution.

38. The word "hearing" is a congressional term that carries no water, no weight, no arresting powers, and no authority. It's a "hearing". We sit around ask questions and listen. Then go home to a steak and a beer. Wake up the next day and talk to someone else about a completely unconnected topic. We move on, but it makes us look good like we're being tough on something. We don't have arresting powers. We just ask questions.
