5. S4 is a nice alternative. The iPhone is marketed to the every day person that uses Facebook, twitter, and camera. It doesn't boast as many features but it gets the job done well. S4 is marketed as an alternative still. Advertising as the better alternative. If they start advertising as its own product they may make more sales. It's a good phone and deserves credit but it is no way "better" to the average consumer.

6. Samsungs software is Android with touchwiz on top. Samsung makes nice flagships but what bugs me is that it's not Apple so they don't get Apples things which I have investes my time in. I don't regret it, however. Nice phones though. Just no reason to switch yet.

7. iPhone 4,4s, 5s gives you true multitasking, pedometer (which is just a combination of the accelerometer and gyroscope) and 4" screen (which for some is the deal breaker). iPhone 5s gives you finger print sensor. S4 gives you air gestures, bigger screen, facial recognition, thermometer. Air gestures is ehh, bigger screen is cool if you like that sort of thing. Facial recognition is alright. I'm not saying the S4 sucks but it's better is some cases and worse in others. Chill.

10. hum… the old galaxy s4 is 50 euros cheaper in 16 gb than this new iphone 5S 16 gb… so i do not understand your point, the 5S is 64 bits, with 120 fps camera , touch ID , A7 graphic chip ect ect…

12. Google's Nexus 4 is $199 unlocked with specs that compete against Samsung S4 and HTC Ones. iPhone 5S's specs don't even come close.

13. S4 is the same price as the iPhone 5s. iPhone 5s gets you a finger print scanner. S4 gets you air gestures. What exactly seems cooler? Air gestures are gimmicky and the finger print scanner/touch ID has great uses. The camera on the 5 was on par for the most part with the S4 and the 5s' camera is getting a lot of attention.

    If you need a phone now… 5s. Wait for the S5 if you want to see what samsung chooses to go for. That is if you like faux leather and a larger screen. Some do.

19. Apple always wins. Only thing Android has is Customization. Apple has and has always HAD consistently AMAZING performance even when its 1-2 years old. With Android you start getting a frozen screen after only 6 months.

24. Wow, what great innovations! A gold colored iphone and a 'budget'-iphone which is just 100$ cheaper than the normal one. And its out of that bad plastic which normal only the competitors using. 25. IPhone 5s. I. E. 5same, 5shit, 5sucker for buying it. It's just a iPhone 5 with new camera and updated OS. So who cares. Android user. (not to mention your fingerprints getting into the hands of the government.) APPLE owns your info read the small print. Apple is in bed with Homeland security and will have access to all your info. It's actually a brilliant idea they can listen to your conversation, gps you, fingerprints, Internet usage and history.

26. 2 years ago Apples competitors were on a path of catch up.
    Watching this "keynote" it's become clear that Android is
    the were the innovation is coming from today.
    Most of the "New" features are ape'ing or copying Android features.
    For me coming from a 4S the HTC one blew it out of the water.
    There is nothing here making me want to switch back to apple.
    All the "Its beautiful" & " just stunning!!" is not going to change that.
    The games changed,Android aren't playing catch up anymore.

33. Before i bought my iphone5 i thought that yeah phones with quad cores are awesome android for the win etc, but then i decided to swich things up a bit!!
    I got the iphone5 and you know what?Having a fucking quad core on a phone doesnt make sence, why would a phone need a almost pc spu, why?The answear is optimization of the OS and android are way behind!!Yeah sure they have the custumazation options etc but do we rly need all of that SHIT android gives us?I DONT!!
    Iphone is my number one now!!!

My friends laughed at me when I bought the s4 but now who is laughing ppl talk about the quality and the build only but forget the features the specs and everything else about the device now I am not saying apple sucks or anything it is just so far from android now especially in specs and features but as a software the non lagging ios system is better than android and we are seeing alot of improvements in android recently phones tablets phablets that don't lag at all

41. I've had every iPhone from the beginning, and have no desire to switch. I'll be upgrading to the new iPhone as soon as it's available. I love Apple!

45. I agree with you and yes, you are correct. Developers usually spend more time perfecting their iOS apps first before making their android counterparts. As a result they usually look better and perform faster even if the android phone has better specs. Plus no fragmentation.
