  1. I would've loved if they added max charge percentage feature as well, so I won't have to use automation that starts playing music when the charge goes above 75% to remind me to unplug.

  2. Apple makes anti upgradable computers that end up in the e- waste… But they are still gonna act how they are for the environment with this new feature 😂

  3. And this is from the same company that sells a whopping $1000 wheels ????????
Also the same company which insisted to keep using a lightning port ???????

  4. Can’t wait for them to get rid of the charging port and we all have to use wireless charging which is wildly inefficient. They’re going to push this feature hard then to compensate

  5. Apple pumps out new devices annually with perfunctory updates, consuming thousands of tons of resources. But ya, sure, battery charging speed or whatever.

  6. If you do the calculation, it's about 500k-1M tons of CO2 saved per year. Compared to the 32B tons globally emitted annually. So it would be 0.002-0.003%. Nothing but a marketing ploy lmao

  7. Wow, pretty interesting. Hopefully this is only in effect at your home, because when you plug in while out, that's when you need the juice the most, and it's much less frequent than at home.

  8. Got it, so instead of turning their mining carbon footprint lower they try to force it on everyone else to make it seem like they care… 🙄

  9. I turned that feature off. If i need a charge in the middle of the day I want my phone to charge not to wait till 2am when the energy use is low. That would be a nightmare to have your phone on the charger for an hour only not to charge cause apple says you should wait. No thanks.
