Only buy a Tesla and only charge at Tesla superchargers and then no worries! There are already plenty of them with many more coming.
that eagle definitely was flagging him to get instruction about charging his belly. or he stuck is wing in the wrong charger?
They are not cars, they are milk floats, or more acceptibly, EV's, electric vehicles.
It will be awhile before I even think about buying an electric car because of the cost and infrastructure. I don’t fly and I drive when I travel. I can’t imagine doing a cross country trip in an electric car. When I need gas I can buy it anywhere in America…with an electric car not so much. If I needed a car just to drive around town, maybe but I would also need to be in a high income bracket to afford buying a car just to drive around town 🤷🏾♂️
I don't understand why they don't work out a deal with gas stations and have chargers at every gas station
They better get their ship together for this thing ain't going to work out for them in the long run
In europe Teslas have the standard plug. And the app i have does have roaming and i can charge at different charging stations with my RFID card. i mostly had good experiences with charging here.
Level 2 charging at your home is a must if you truly want to enjoy an electric car!
The damage that the ev drive will do to the planet is staggering, much more harmful than maintaining an internal combustion engine, funny how no one is talking about the black on black slavey of children in the Congo, when protesting for blm and driving around in a shiny new evs. I guess virtue signalling is more important than the plight of the people being oppressed, when it comes to the west having a shiny new product 🤔 and this is before you even get into the multitude of problems that the EVs have attached to them, governments just want millions of cars off of the roads and be able to control the movement of the peasants, they do this by conning delusional people into thinking everyone will have an ev and that it’s ‘green’ what a joke and then when the ev scam fails the petrols and diesels I.e choice, will be gone but it’s ok, all the wealthy youtube ‘influencers’ will have enough cash to keep driving, pretty crap for the rest of the people who struggle just to keep a £1000 vehicle running, I know this because I’m a 34 yr experience mechanic, at 53 yrs old now.
Out of Spec has been talking about this for a while. The infrastructure is a problem if it’s not easy to use.
in the meanwhile i pay hald the price for a liquid fuel car that goes twice the distance and no refuelling issue
Electric cars suck. Over rated. Charging cost alot more than gas. Plus you still petro generators to drive the charging stations. Does this make any sense.
Totally agree. I pretty much only charge at home overnight. The electric car is the 2nd car in the family, and it is perfect for that, but we are not ready to go to two electric cars.
I had a Plaid S and it end up not working out, for the charging reasons. I had to purchase another vehicle. I enjoyed driving the Plaid, other than the braking it was hands down a class of its own. But I think unless you have the knowledge or desire for tech wanting to learn all of the functions and capabilities the vehicle will not be a priority for its price point. If I lived in Cali again where there are charging stations everywhere I would have kept it.
Our electric grid can not handle too many more vehicles. The charging infrastructure, and a confusing pay station can bury the company.
Nice !
That's why people buy into PHEV instead of EV. They work fine as EV's day to day, but you don't want to take the risk on long journeys. I wish we had PHEV's with say 100 or 150km range, that surely would be a step forward
Should have dialed up the nearest Supercharger location as a destination for that lady. Problem solved.
How did you come up with that thumbnail with the wheel for this video?
I spend 3 minutes refueling my car and gets 300+ miles. Yeah, no EV for me.
The battery itself is what's killing electric cars. They're so inefficient and wasteful. Lithium loses its integrity after every charge. Eventually it won't hold or discharge enough energy. There will never be a classic electric car.
Lol….
Thank you for bringing awareness to this kinds of issues. Tech should be easy to learn and do. There’s no need to make technology so hard.
That’s what I keep telling people. The electric car thing is not a thing for me, as well as all other holdouts, due to the suckitude of recharging infrastructure
??
Just found your channel by chance brother, good stuff! I was considering a Tesla even though I’ve never believed in electric stuff as my channel is all about small engine machines. But I was considering it until I saw a ford f150 lightning on the side of a road with a gas generator in the bed attached to his charging port. Come on! E85 flex is what I’m running now.
The price is ruining electric cars, it is just not worth it getting electric over gas
I test drove a model y a couple days ago, and the sales associate just said, “it’s simple”. I’m no stranger to tech, but learning to drive with one pedal in one minute is not simple. I can’t imagine the rest 😂

LOL..TRY IT AT MINUS 40 ..WINTER IN CANADA…
In 10~15 more years electric cars and infrastructure will be ready for primetime.
this is how i feel about crypto…"walmart now accepts xyz for payment", or gamestop, or whatever ….but how do i do that?… i was expecting at checkout to see something to pay but there isnt , and i cant find a sing video that shows a real life transaction….point is it shud be smooth and intuitive and i understand the confusion some pwople may have in this situation

7:13 He might have ornithophobia.
I like this guy's vlogs more than the tech videos.
