They are still a lot better than any chinese tires
I just got a F150 FX4 with these tires, I guess I better start looking for new tires. But the thing that gets me is I paid a lot of money for it to and I still don't get good tires.
My new truck has Goodyear Trail Runner tries are they any good or do I need to change them out too my Pirelli scorpion AT Plus
I have a Infiniti fx35 2005 are these tires good? Lol
Do you guys have a video on the Goodyear wrangler adventure with Kevlar?
Discount tire will give me $100 each for these with under 2k miles on them on trade for a set of toyo at3…I see the toyo are 5lb heavier each in the 18", but others like the wildpeak and ko2 are heavier yet…should I do the deal ? Yay or nay
Great review looking forward to more.
I think it’s all about that test drive and if it sells the vehicle.
These are quiet and comfortable with off road look but are they good in extreme conditions who knows.
We just started making these in a 20” tire.
i love these tires they are so soft confy as hell i really really recommend it, iv even went off-roading with it.. did very very well specially on sands
I’m at 76,000 on these tires. Still got plenty of tread left. I’m not a Goodyear fan. What can I get that’s as good or better?
At 14K miles on F150 4×4 I have consumed 3/32's. They are at 8/32 now. Time will tell how they do. I'm already thinking of going to a highway tread tire at replacement time. Like a defender or Cont. Contact ht. I value low noise, low rolling resistance, and ride quality. I rarely get off highway. Any suggestions???
good traction, quiet on the road but TOO LIGHT FOR A FARM VEHICLE tire. These should not be on an F-150 that is destined for a farm. I have had 5 flat tires all from pasture thorns and common vegetative obstacles encountered in average agricultural settings. Also the rock roads (gravel) are hard on the tread life. These would be very good tires for an urban setting perhaps but not for farm use.
I have them on my ‘22 F150 XLT and I think they’re alright but we shall see how they do come winter here in Alberta. I’m also glad to know that I’m not the only one who thinks the big font on the tire looks weird. Fortunately the white lettering is on the inside so you don’t notice it as much.
I just bought a set yesterday as replacements for the Wranglers on my 2013 F150. Small town local goodyear store (with Coopers, Firestones, and others) who has treated me well with tractor tires and I wanted something more aggresive , but not noisy and dealer suggested these. 55,000 miles tread wear rating….I hope so. My Older wranglers were almost to the wear bars at 51000 miles, which is about what i have got from them on 5 different sets I have owned. Never a flat, just rotate at 5000 mile oil changes and , to me, that is good service. (I could have gone another 2-3K, but I also use on farm in mud) They are very quiet on blacktop highways, have not been on concrete yet. I generally set tire pressures at 90% of sidewall max for the loads I carry and for me that is the ticket. I get even wear and have for years using that formuls on cars and trucks. THESE show 51 psi sidewall pressure max, which I did not know and had them set at 40psi. (I was figuring 44 psi max ) I will keep an eye on that. I will report any issues I have, and will be glad to read wear and snow traction others get. Thank you for the review.
A good tire i like it
I just bought a new set of these tires as my first replacement tires for my 2018 F150 Lariat Crew Cab.
These tires SUCK in snow. They have almost ZERO traction, which surprised me; I purchased them because they seemed to have a pretty aggressive tread pattern…. but I can barely get traction in 1/2" snow on my asphalt driveway in Michigan. I literally backed into my turn-around as I exited the garage…when I shifted to Drive, and tried to turn forward down my driveway with 1/2" or less of snow on the drive, my truck just sat in place and spun and spun – I couldn't move 1 foot forward. I finally resorted to engaging 4WD to move down my driveway.
These tires slide and slip around like it had racing slicks on it….. I cannot stress enough how terrible winter snow traction is.
Noise and dry road driving is acceptable…. but I really bought these thinking they would be an upgrade to the equally horrible Michelin Primacy OEM tires that came on the truck.
I would check out the Firestone Destination AT or the Pirelli snow rated tires….. or perhaps BFGoodrich snow rated…. if you want any kind of snow traction without going to a full-on snow tire.
Conclusion: Goodyear makes a fancy 'blimp'….. but cannot make a tire worth a shit.
These tires came on my 2020 F150 and have been good so far for the last 14 months. The tires don’t have a ton of tread and have the 3 peak mountain symbol and have been really good in 6-8” snow. Having the 3 peak snow rating means they are fairly soft. I only have 3500 miles on the truck and they need rotated already… They have been good in the wet, dry and snow but will probably go with a different AT tire when I need to replace them.
Pretty sure this is the tire coming with 2022 Tacoma TRD Offroad models (in Canada)
Great review! Thorough, well articulated and to the point.
That tread makes me think of a DNA strand.
They’re also on many new Tacomas
I think Goodyear & Ford figured out that many people can be fooled into thinking a tire is off road worthy by giving it aggressive side walls on an otherwise light AT tire. If you just focus on the tread its not all that more aggressive than something like a Goodyear kevlar tire.
Also am I the only one who prefers the old goodyear white lettering font on their older radial Wrangler tires?
Is there an updated review on the Goodyear Territory MT? My Sasquatch Packaged Bronco is being built. Thanks.
Great review!
Have you done a review on the 2021 F150 OE Hankook Dynapro AT 2. My sport 4×4 came stock with those, they are the 20inch tire. I’ve seen the RF11 but that’s a different design.
what is the difference between these and the wrangler duratracs and which is better and why?
I hope Goodyear turns into BADYEAR! After what they did re the voter fraud investigations, I want nothing to do with this communist company! I will NEVER buy their tires again – even IF I can get them for a $1 a piece! This is a scumbag company, and Un American company and I hope millions of REAL Conservatives will boycott them! This is NOT aimed against you – just this product from a dumb-ass company you are reviewing!
this tire looks a lot different than the OEM ones that come on the TRX …
Just bought a 2021 F150 with these on there. They track very nicely and are very quiet. Feeling the tread, they are soft. I think they will do great this Skiing season.
Isn’t a load C a 6 ply, not a 4 ply as you say in video ?
You gained a subscriber straight to the point
How does that tire compare to Goodyear Ultra Terrain?
Alway enjoy these reviews. I ended up with a Continental TC A/T, a tire I never would have considered, and am very happy with it.
2 ply no good I have 2000 miles on mine and I’m buying new tires.
