1. First episode is a home run! All the scepticism about the casting is long gone now at this point. Can’t wait for the rest!

3. Like you haven't played the game and this is your first ever exposure to this Masterpiece of a story aka The Last of Us.

6. Showing the bite in the game felt more impactful and less rushed compared to the show but other than that, it was a pretty spot on adaptation.

9. Love how everyone’s complaining about Sarah’s race instead of the actual show. Really shows where their priorities are at. Anyways, first episode was awesome.

10. The thing that bothered me the most was how they’re treating Tess. Tess is a badass in the game. She shoots Robert point blank over a gun deal gone bad. In the show she still has a fight in her but she seems way more soft for some reason, not at all Joel’s equal.

16. Gotta admit I’m a little divided by the direction they took. On the one hand, it seems a little disappointing to me that they’re basically just reenacting the game since it feels a little lazy and I’ll probably already know what to expect for the entire show. But on the other, nearly every other show/movie based on a game that has tried to be original with the plot has turned out awful (ahem Halo), so I’m also glad they’re sticking with something that’s tried and true.

21. The acting is far better in the game but hbo still did great

26. Somethings the game does better but the show adds so much more context. The Outbreak was 10x more scary.
